how much would it cost to get it painted properly?

I still have hopes AA will one day release a diecast of the NA2

so jealousy aside (heh)... is this it?: MARK 1/18 HONDA NSX-R NA2

it says 38000yen so you got a great deal.

but looking at the custom build options... 95000yen for someone to build it for you

from the pics you took of the nsx, did it come partially assembled as shown, or did you already build it up to that point with just the shell needing paint?

as for building/not building it... i would say build it since it is not part of the numbered series, which means whatever you do it will not affect its value.

Haha she is married already ;)

It came assembled like that which is a bit odd because I'd have to take it apart to paint it lol

My fiend has an Autobody shop and he actually painted a Fujimi model for me before in long beach blue pearl (which is a tri-coat) in real automotive paint and it turned out fantastic so I'd probably ask him if I do it and he wouldn't charge me I don't think

depends how much you pay, its pretty decent actually, very light though
I was surprised the vents even lift up
The white 640 is pretty hard to find, i only see one seller on ebay with it, there used to be a whole bunch of them
i wouldnt say its worth over 100, maybe 80 or so, but even then if i were you, cough up a bit more $$ n just get the autoart one

Big thanks to Toast for selling me his UT Porsche 993 Turbo arena red. Shipped it Monday the same day I paid and arrived safely today. Nicely packaged in styrofoam peanuts and wrapped in bubble wrap. All doors taped closed with masking tape. Perfect condition model and exactly what I wanted. The quality of the UT surpassed my expectations so I am happy!

He did a few modifications too it including: Red painted tail lights (North American style), chemical dipped front signals clear, raised hood badge, Tamiya painted grey interior to make it look less plastic.

Honourable mention to Thumper for teaching me about the different models available.

Here it is with my Burago F40 and Hot Wheels 993 GT2

thumper 11-12-2014 06:03 PM

at least take a picture of the UT model with the real car! :failed::speechless::gtfo::troll: :lol

TouringTeg 11-12-2014 06:13 PM

haha Will have to wait until the spring to take both out and get decent pics. My wife has already taken the model and wrapped it up for Xmas.

I better get her something nice!
:accepted:

has anybody been to autoworld in metro recently?
last time i bought a model there was awhile ago and pretty over priced from what i know now. any recent visits?

SpeedStars 11-12-2014 08:58 PM

They're still fairly expensive. Last time I went like 2 months ago, an autoart r35 was around 149.99 and the autoart AE86 initial D release was like 219

CLS63 11-12-2014 09:52 PM

Their ae86s are 300 now lol..
