has anybody been to autoworld in metro recently?
last time i bought a model there was awhile ago and pretty over priced from what i know now. any recent visits?

i went there about a month back. showed them an autoart i was looking for from wilkinson's website on my smartphone they had on backorder that autoworld had on their shelf. autoworld was something like $80 more so i asked if they could price match or at least go down on the price and the salesperson said no, so i was forced to walk... they have a lot of old (vintage?) autoart stuff there. not sure if it's because they hoard them or is it because nothing sells?

wilkinson's (local) and eztoys (for autoart online) are the only two you need to know ;)

the last time i went to magic box was 2 years ago. i didn't go back because wilkinson's was closer and a little bit cheaper, but they did have a lot of train and RC stuff i'm not that familiar with. and i remember there was always some sort of nice sportbike parked by the front window.

how are their prices these days?

Finally set up the collection after it spent years in storage but still need one more bookcase to add the VWs (not pictured). My two young kids constantly want to "play" with the cars, but that usually means demolition derby style driving :eek5:

Had to put my S2000 back in the box to make room for the Mclaren and Lambo.

i keep looking at that mclaren f1 and wonder if autoart took anything from the UT version from years past when autoart bought out UT and closed them down... it was really detailed for it's time and roughly 1/3 the price of what the autoart version costs today.

I've never seen the UT version in person before but the Autoart one does look very detailed but damn expensive. Don't think I'll be buying anymore models for a while lol.
