This thing is older than a lot of people on Revscene, it's from 1991

Tamiya Quick Drive Honda NSX 1/12 scale
I got it from overseas, brand new, unused, extremely good condition
It's pretty crazy rare

This thing was actually the reason why I got an eBay account.... I first saw this on eBay in 2001, and I've seen it 4 times on eBay, but I never got one until recently

Very happy with this. Except for the LOL huge wheel gap

Where did you find the dimensions of the dioramas? I couldn't seem to locate them on the website you provided. Trying to figure out which diorama would be able to fit in an Ikea Detolf, which is 43cm wide and 37cm deep.

One red bull. More to come.

i got them right off their website...

Apparently the image showing measurements is the ONLY image on their entire site showing the measurements of that particular set only, none of the other ones.

if that is the case then i would suggest contacting the store directly. their information is listed at the bottom of the page.

the first new autoart composite model... note the comments about being cast in color (ie. not painted) and the lower price:

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater
Quote:

Aston Martin Vantage V12 GT3. This is AUTOart's first composite model.
Diecast chassis with ABS Plastic body. The body is cast in the final colour so this reduces the risk of paint scratches or blemishes.
Doors open to reveal a well detailed interior. Remember this is a race car so the interior is pretty spartan.
Panel gaps between the door and the body are very close. The engine bay and trunk/boot are sealed.
The wheel and brake detail is as good as any other AUTOart model. The wheels roll and the front wheels steer.
Oddly the model feels light but maybe that's just a perception as I know it is ABS plastic. The Aston Martin weighs 632grams. By way of comparison my Aston Martin DB9R, also from AUTOart weighs 584 grams and my AUTOart Allan Moffat A9X Torana weighs 792 grams.
The Aston Martin feels warm to touch unlike a diecast model that feels metallic and cool to touch.
Keeping the car clean will I believe present a problem. Because the car is made of ABS it attracts dust and the dust then sticks to the plastic finish.
On the plus side the car cost US$122.90 which is a significant price drop for most AUTOart models.

That's not Tarmac's eg6, so don't have your hopes up. That is One Model resin. They will have eg6 and fd2 civic type-r in 1/18. Tarmac is still only showing 3d models.

I am still waiting for pictures of my 1/18 civic EF :rukidding:

ouch
may be worth $100 max for me then....i'd rather pay a premium for the heft of diecast and being able to see the engine vs saving money for better panel gaps.
Paint blemish on autoarts isn't a problem for me so far...this was probably done to save cost and the time it takes the sand each diecast down during the mfg process
