I had a MR Ferrari 599 GTO in blanco white with the navy blue stripes, gunmetal wheels... kept it for a few years, but just threw it on eBay a month ago and someone from China bought it within hours.

Checked the guys feedback, he is buying on average about 50 models per day and has been doing so for like 6+ months... just insane!! He must have trucks backing up to his house every day!

I agree, the SVs are stunning. Quality is defn a lot better than some other performance series from Autoart too.

I never took mine out of the box and never tried to find a display case... I think the MR base is actually kind of ugly with the 4 rivets in the corners... I think if I was putting mine in a case I would have unmounted it lol

This was mine:

ugh why did you sell it... so nice

i finally pulled mine out of the case. i guess i need to find an acrylic box with a bottom that is wide enough to stuff all this inside without taking it off the existing base still attached?

the current MRs have different bases now in suede, alcantara, etc. which has a lip for a cover to sit on. but when i tried to ask MR i wasn't able to get a reply

someone was asking about their autoart order at wilkinsons. this is from their newsletter dated today:

Quote:
What's New

Here is the Latest News

A quick note to say "Hi"and share some pictures of the old place. Pictures of the new place will be coming soon. Even though we are working very hard , progress is slow but it is all coming together. Hopefully we will be set up in 2 weeks!

We have had some packages arrive but we have not had enough time to process them. Auto Art was scheduled to arrive 2 weeks ago but when it was to be delivered the driver sent it back to Auto Art, thinking that we were closed and not realizing that we were actually working in the back of the store and could have accepted the shipment! It is now expected to arrive this week at our new location.

I'm not a big Ferrari guy at all so I felt it was expendable and he paid me way too much $$$ for it, so I'm ok with it! I always feel like I'm giving away children tho.

I have been contemplating liquidating my entire collection though... Kinda feel like I'm done with the whole thing.

not sure if this well known... this was a nissan japan dealer only model from autoart. you couldn't buy it in regular stores. 1000 units in "titanium grey", more more commonly known as Titan:

comparsion against the normal dark grey (i forget the actual name):

i keep them where there is space and sleep on the floor because the pumpkin has the bed.

actually many i've had for some time, but i never took pics of anything. but after i recently joined a diecast facebook page where photography is encouraged i only started to take pics of everything now. but a lot of stuff is still bnib... either too expensive or worried something might happen to them if they are out in the open

the person who told me about this said they have some premade stuff, but it's mostly about custom order, ie. non standard sizes. i've been meaning to go because the person i spoke to on the phone wants to see the base i was hoping to fit the cover around but i haven't been able to find time
