ignition model is going to introduce a FD together with the FC.

someone sent me this. this is not the prototype i saw a pic of, but i am not sure if this is preproduction because of all that mad camber in the wheels... but it looks to be from the same show in japan:

i'm more interested in the na1 you can just see peeking out on the shelf below, but it dosen't seem to have advanced much from the early prototype pics. but at least there isn't tape holding it together this time (but that is because almost anything glass is missing)...

picked up a C63 AMG DTM by norev. a bit disappointed, a very lackluster model. It does go nice with the E92 DTM though... (and my own silver C63 )

Sweet, weird coincidence I saw those models in Harrod's London a few weeks ago... Dude you have no idea how big it is in person... Just mammoth... Somewhere between a 1:18 and power wheels lol

something like over 2ft long. the 1/18 autoart coupe version on top of the 1/8 pocher:

the transkit has almost as many parts as the car itself, which has something like 800 pieces to it... there is a LED light kit coming up for it as well.

i'm slow so it's going this is going to take me years to build.

the berlinetta i posted awhile back is a bbr, as was the laferrari. both are older models and the paint is better than diecast (eg. autoart).

but i have been reading on the collector message boards that bbr's quality control has been slipping. because i don't have anything current i don't really know how bad it is. i already mentioned the loose glass on the berlinetta, but that is a common failing on resin models.

My 1/43 Ferrari 599xx EVO is from BBR - resin (posted earlier in the thread)

It's an earlier model, and the fit and finish is amazing. My photos are not that great, but the details are extremely intricate

not really. i read somewhere else someone buying a BBR 1/12 laferrari and one of the wheels fell off. no big deal because you can glue it back on, but when it sells for around $1500 it's not acceptable.

After a closer inspection of the car I wanted to repaint, it looks like parts that would have to come off before painting are glued or riveted together. I think I'll have to leave it how it is.

i was wondering what everyone thought of this or if there is something better out there...

Went to the Pagani factory yesterday they had a 1:8 scale Amalgam Collection model of the Huayra in the showroom... $7,000 model haha and guess what? Had a huge paint chip under the mirror lol... Such a beautiful piece of artwork though. I would post pictures but I'm without a laptop for the next few days.
