From their last newsletter
"Next open house days are Thursday May 28th and Saturday May 30, we will be closed on Friday the 29th. We do answer emails and phone calls on other days of the week."

ugh i did not get that newsletter, and the website says nothing about an open house.

what exactly will happen at the open house?

Go there and ask in the parts section, they include one with every single bookshelf or dresser they sell nowadays... Probably give it to you for free

At the Richmond store, I remember a vending machine by the area where you pick up and return items, where they sell small parts. I seem to recall you can get the strap there.

i did go. it's actually in the basement of overseas auto. the entrance is through the side door on main street where there is a stairwell that accesses the upper office floor and the basement where wilkinsons now resides. there is no signage up yet.

the place is still in chaos and they are not fully unpacked. ted literally moved the last of the inventory out of the old location last night. the new space is not set up for retail so don't expect anything fancy. you can browse but it's tight and scary because it feels like the shelves will come down on you and you'll be stuck with the replacement bill for everything lol. when i was there they were focusing on getting mail order items packed up for shipping.

Beautiful model! Was there a brochure that came with it?

I just got mine and it had a certificate but no brochure.

bought another broken model from fleabay. old bbr f430GT. had to fix the interior through the side window opening. steering wheel and column had broken free and was loose inside the car... it was like building a ship inside a bottle

the car dosen't come apart. the interior tub is glued to the inside of the bodyshell... wtf. there is some peeling of the decals inside and i have no means of getting to them to fix... the model is from 2008 so age is catching up to it i guess.

$300 CAD for a resin model is a bit steep for a lesser known brand, google isn't coming up with anything is it called onemodel?
if the headlights are more detailed and amber sidemarkers are darker i might think about it
then again just add a few more grand to that price tag and you can import an auction grade three 1:1 version?

elbows too sharp 2/10 would not bang

Proportions look spot on.

The front end isn't as square as the real car... and wheels look a bit off.

Not a diecast, but finally finished this one. 1st build in 12 years, so it's far from perfect. Aoshima 1/24.

i asked on another group about this brand and i was told that they have been around, but not as long as others or as widely distributed as others like gt spirit. they are known as a mid to low end company in the marketplace. but when i mentioned the price of this one they all said no

Well. In the end it really is just what you like to collect and if you could afford it. I bought a $400 civic over a Zonda R Evo
