Have you tried this yet? I have paint rash on my F40 but I don't want to mess it up attempting to get rid of the rash.

Picked up a Kyosho Ferrari 250 GTO few weeks ago, lucky no paint rash as far as I can tell.

All the Ferrari's together.

Just got the kyosho Lamborghini veneno about 130cdn after shipping and gt autos pagani huayra both 1/18.
Pagani was 150ish after shipping but details pretty good compared to the aa that's almost 400, I'd definitely recommend it for the price. The kyosho veneno is really good compared the the aa, main difference is that the kyosho has no opening parts. I'll post pics soon

i had sent away my f40 to be resprayed before i found this, but the previous owner did try to wet sand it using the above technique but it was too far gone to save.

same goes for the e46 m3 i posted a billion pages back. there wasn't anywhere on that model that didn't have rash. it's currently with pete's spec for one of his custom rebuilds.

i finally found one of these. it's a 1/24 scale hotworks r34 gtr vspec2 in bayside blue. it comes with parts you can modify the car with to become either a nismo s-tune or r-tune. back in the day before hotworks went out of business i really wanted one but couldn't afford it and it soon became a unicorn for me... until now.

... and this was the other one. exchange rate is getting worse, prices are going up, and selection was going down (only 180 made? not sure). i had to make the call and get at least one of the various versions...
