Stay away from city areas unless you want attention.

BrRsn 10-18-2012 01:03 PM

women and lateral acceleration do not mix

As others have said though, cypress is probably youre best bet

EDIT: The island (forget the name) between vancouver and richmond underneath the knight street bridge is dead on sundays/holidays.

BlueSedanRUS 10-18-2012 01:03 PM

The track is out, since its a fully stock car(g35 sedan) and no need for high speed,i knew before you could go to silvercity in richmond but now the cop station is right there.

I think you mean Mitchell Island. Not sure how many open lots they have there. Also, they do have some traffic around Badminton Vancouver (entrance coming in from Vancouver side).

Cypress is do'able I guess, but occasionally cops do patrol that area.

Good luck.

i would suggest any home depot(after closing), those parking lots are massive.

immorality 10-18-2012 02:19 PM

AutoX

J.C 10-18-2012 02:23 PM

Autox is where its at.. We have a few clubs locally that host at the pit meadows airport...

UBCSCC | University of British Columbia Sports Car Club (UBC Sport Car Club founded in 1956)
VCMC Motorsport Club Forums - Latest (Founded in 1982)
Porsche Club of America - Canada West Region

UBCSCC is currently running a slush series and I believe it starts within a week or 2. Try it out, you never know maybe the GF is a better driver than you..

If you guys are serious and really want to learn, join the VCMC velocity events.. They are super informative and really help with your driving abilities. Plus you get way more seat time than a regular AutoX event. Its pretty cheap compared to track days.

The lower mainland is probably the worst place in the world to be driving aggressively, speedily, or stunt driving. You'd only be safe drifting a bicycle on the green lanes :troll:

Thats why i started this topic.
Already expirienced the tough law for *race stunting* on public road

Cypress or seymour... If you have a friend who's willing, Have him/her park half way up to let you know if any cops are coming up (I know for a fact they make at least one trip up there a day)
