that is correct.
S and SV models come with 6 speed manuals.
SR pkg only comes with automatic........ although alot of enthusiasts wont really buy an SR.. it only looks nice.
there is a confirmed SE-R in the works.... totally looking forward to that.

I would think enthusiasts will consider the SR package because it adds the rear disc brakes. But regardless, it's too bad you can't any package (like the Luxury or Premium package) without CVT. Nissan is basically saying sorry if you want a sunroof, leather navi or Bose system, you can't have the six speed.

SR premium pkg is a nice car.. although no 6 speed.
enthusiasts would really have to wait for the SE-R
on another note, four door 9 gen Si...... are torquey. k24 motor is more driveable than the k20z3... a shame they neutered the motor with that integrated exhaust manifold design..

Really makes you wonder where the heck the legendary reliability Honda was once known for has gone...

^ havent heard of that either.
the k24 is simply a tsx bottom end with a new engine head design...
im guessing its one of those internet things where a guy was revving the living piss out of a non broken in motor, then told the whole world the k24 is crap..

The tiptronic isn't half bad and the engine is rev happy .. Definitely one of the nicer compact cars I've driven at work. Interior looks good even after a few months of service.
Corolla is boring as hell to drive and the interior looks like shit after only ~15,000kms. Everything in it screams economy from the radio, to the shifter, to the steering wheel.
Altima CVT Not a fan of the drive mechanism but interior holds up to regular wear and tear fairly well
Ford Focus Titanium - self parking, very refined interior, nice good quality touch screen, really nice sound system, bluetooth audio streaming w/ ford sync. We have a few of these with more than 20-30k and the interior still looks pristine
Only car I haven't actually driven is the new civic .. would be fun to see how it compares

I honestly would buy a new Altima sedan 3.5 6MT if that existed. I will never buy a CVT. Ever. Nissan has really left the sport sedan w/ a 6MT out in the rain this time... Maxima's are all CVT's now, Aren't they?

nissan no longer offers a V6 6MT sedan...
funny thing is the Accord base, sport and touring models have the 6 MT option w/ 4 banger option..

They have really cut off alot of people with not offering atleast a 5/6 speed auto. Anyone who used to buy Nissan's for their practicality and still enjoyed a sporty car will be looking elsewhere...
