AVG installed no wifi

Hi,

My friend she installed AVG and now there is no wifi connection. I tried uninstall avg still doesnt work. Reinstalled the driver still didnt work...

Now the wireless adapter stays disabled and when I try to enable it it says "enabled" on the pop up but still says disabled...

anyone know the fix?

Laptop?

If so, there might be a physical wifi switch.

control panel network properties, iam installing windows 8 to fix it but its been bugging me couldnt figure it out

uninstall driver, reboot, hardwire the desktop and maybe windows8 will have a driver in windows update.
