Here's some Black Friday flyers from Vistek and Henry's. Some goodies in there. I am intrigued by the Benro 40% off deal at Vistek.

Morpheus Stabilizer for GoPro, Smartphone and Small Cameras by Cinevate ? Kickstarter

125 bucks for what looks to be a decent stabilizing rig for action cameras.

There are cheaper ones around.

And for about $200, you can get one of those brushless gimbal ones off eBay.

Love those 600EX's as well.

I'm using the ST E3 RT on my 5D3 and it's great. Simple to use and amazing range.

I'm curious too as bcam has then for $450 before taxes currently.

Perhaps a future price match could bring it down if FS is selling for retail?

Vistek's regular price is $439, and they are apparently going to be $399 tomorrow. I'd just love to buy one today before the lines get completely retarded...

ME/Future Shop will honor most price matches, even "sale items" such as the 600EX. YMMV. Also keep in mind that if you catch an astute worker, they'll catch that shipping isn't included in the $399 deals.

The worst that can happen is that they say no.

LD was a no-go on the 600EX for $399. I ended up picking up a used 430EX for $200 and calling it a day, the reality is it's PLENTY of flash for my limited capabilities and needs!

London drugs is the worst for price matching. Even with proof of pricing, they will do everything in their power to my honour the lower price including bs excuses.

If you want something price matched at London Drugs, let me know. I might be able to swing it but you have to be serious about buying.

Nex7 is an older model though. I'd rather be on the lookout for a Nex6.

Thanks for the offer. But with the other stores out there (even FS and BB have loosened their strictness I find), LD is my last resort now for PMs.

I tried to price match a 10-22 from Best Buy going for 699 at the time. The first LD I went to (King George) gladly obliged, but when I opened the box, it was just the lens! As in, no documentation, no plastic- just box, styrofoam, and lens+caps. They returned it, put another one on hold at Brentwood and said I was all good to go. I get there, and all of a sudden the manager is called in to tell me that they can't sell it. I politely ask why when I was told that I could, and they said that the price was too low to price match. I get that businesses aren't in the business of giving away products, but here I was with proof of stock and price, and they still refused. Left a bad taste.

Edit: For you aspiring astrophotographers out there, the Bower/Samyang/blahblahblah 14mm 2.8 is on sale:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003VWDVLO/...d_p=1678043062

I took the last spot on the wait list, but I doubt I'll actually buy it. Cheapest I've seen anywhere.

Edit/edit: If PS Elements is your usual photo editing tool outside of ACR/LR/Aperture, it's on sale on Amazon as well:

http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Photosho.../dp/B00EOQZB4G

yeah but from what i understand they're basically the same with both having their positives and negatives (nex7 with more mpx, more settings etc; nex6 with less noise and two types of focusing tech and wifi) and if you were to buy the nex6 in addition to that 20mm pancake locally @ BF prices it would still cost more than that nex7 deal

I'm seeing going to return my Nex6 to sony if not for that nex7 kit than the nex6 bf prices

rumors of a 7N for Feb announcement though

Have you thought about the A7/A7R instead?

that's one camera i'm interested in once they launch it.

hope it goes well with adapters for my Leica lenses and maybe even my Canon EF lenses.

Broadway Camera in Richmond has a demo on the A7 over the weekend apparently.

I would love an A7 but im not willing to pay that price :/
Im having buyers remorse already with the nex because i cant justify spending that on a cam since im such a horrible novice at it :/

Im even thinking about just returning everything and getting a 3N I always get like this when i buy something

I figure the A7 is the same as buying a 6D and a A7R is like a grand less than a 5D3.
