I'm using pixel king ettl triggers. Super easy to use and I can control everything from the camera menu!

Okay Im going nuts here wracking my brain on making a decision
I've purchased a Nex6 I'm going to return it to get in on the BF deals.

what would you guys do?

Nex 7 with 20mm and 18-55mm lens (from bhphotovideo)

or

Nex 6 with 20mm and 16-50mm and 55-210mm lens (henrys bf sale SONY NEX-6 W/ 16-50 & 55-210 LENS NEX6KB + http://www.henrys.com/76481-SONY-SEL...-LENS-NEX.aspx )

both are the same price

OR

just go with a 3N and forget the other lenses

My only concern is that i may be wasting too much money on something i wont use all the time nor have the skill to use fully so i feel like im being wasteful by spending so much more that's why ive got the 3N up there as an option

I wouldn't get anything at all if my 808 pureview was still working properly

Nice! They're another store which is hit/miss with price matching I find. I guess I have to keep buying more from them.

Which location?

Get the cheapest one (3N), dollar-value wise. If you find yourself using it way more than you thought you would, then upgrade!

I would still leave the Nex 7 off the list. The Nex 6 is newer. You'll get less ISO noise from the 6, it has wifi, faster focus with hybrid AF, standard hotshoe. The selling point of Nex7 is mainly physical controls.

If you don't shoot much get the 3N.

I don't think I've ever seen higher-end filters on sale. Your best bet is a store-wide discount. Something like "take 20% off our entire store".

That said I've never seen these locally, so you'll likely have to look at the big boys down south (BH, Adorama, Amazon)

Okay thanks guys i think i've decided... i think : going to order the 3N as well from Henrys and return one or the other gives me some time to come to a conclusion i guess

i do want to shoot some more so im thinking the nex6 can be something i grow into but at the moment the 3n would be best

Let me know if you find one.

I think the Lee Big Stopper is the standard but is incredibly rare to find in stock anywhere.

I would be inclined to think that they would do a raincheck for you. If not, at least they should be willing to take your money now and order it for you at $399 still?

Best I've seen is $65 for just the Focus and around $100 for both. I'd be interested as well so if someone see this at a better price, lemme know.

Hmm... this is strangely tempting...

Deal: Canon EF 70-300mm IS USM for $301.11 Shipped - FM Forums

The 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS is obviously not an L lens, but it is a good lens and the price is right.

It's ok. I think by all accounts the 55-250 has better IQ, albeit with no USM and shorter by 50mm. It'd make a good travel lens.

I'm not sure how much the Tamron 70-300 USD VC comes at, but there is a ton of praise for it on POTN.

Anymore good deals lately or for boxing day. Looking to get a camera for my up coming trips to China. Wanted something better than a smartphone cam.

I was thinking of Sony Cyber-shot Digital Camera HX60V. Will be traveling a lot so something light and small is ideal.
