It's not huge by any means, but very clean and what's a good word........... civilized. Yesterday was the third week. Not a place for bargain hunters, just really good local produce and whatnot. That's probably why it was a good experience. No loud C-Lai's to be seen, or more precisely, heard. It's on one side of the Municipal parking lot, so there is parking right there. I went at around 10:15 and found parking right away. 30 minutes of browsing and you're on your way.

That's the one in behind Bill Copeland right? I've always wanted to check it out, but I work saturdays and I don't think my boss would appreciate me stopping by with the lordco truck to see what's there
And np about the food truck thing! I only know about it because one of my friends is going and I saw it pop up on facebook. I'm glad they made it start at 4, because we use Columbia quite often when we deliver parts down there, so it would have been a huge hassle for us. I'm probably gonna go after work and check it out, though I'm not sure where there would be parking.

Just got back from the Food Truck event............ had a good time. Will be back next year, for sure. Food was meh, but just seeing close to 100 food trucks was neat.
Next - going to food truck city, Portland, on my way to see the total eclipse on the 21st of August.

Go to the Sole Foods stall. Their sungold tomatoes, and greens mix I'd literally say are some of the best in the world. The tomatoes are fucking astonishing.

Two weeks ago, I went to the Trout Lake Farmer's Market. I was expecting to find crappy, overpriced produce. I was pleasantly surprised. More expensive, but totally worth the price. I don't think I can buy the crap from Superstore anymore, lol. And, actually buying from and speaking with the people who actually grow the produce. Some of them are so proud of their produce. Organic and picked that morning. Can't beat that.

I've been spending much more on my vegetables, and buying smaller, cheaper cuts of the best local beef, chicken or pork. Its definitely helping my overall feeling. Cost is about the same or a bit more when you account for the proteins. If there is one thing that you should spend money on, its what determines how your body actually functions.

Car Free Day on Main Street. One of the highlights of the summer. At least, one of my favourite events. Sunday from noon till 7:00. 21 blocks of awesomeness. https://www.carfreevancouver.org/main-street
There's also one in the West End on Denman, from Davie to Robson, but not my cup of tea. It happens today from noon till 7:00 pm.
