Unsubbed raws are out, and if you haven't read the manga through the Shinigami arc, the 10th episode ends on a cliffhanger.

now that i finally watched it, definitely the best episodes of this stage, actually has more story to it than mindless racing

Word is that the fansub group that originally did them has dropped Initial D, so it's mostly on IDW users that run the subs now.

As a whole, I'm actually a bit disappointed with Stage 5.
Somehow, the racing just doesn't seem to stir up my adrenalin as it did in the previous stages. I find the music isn't as good either.
I'm glad they added some more backstory to the characters instead of just mindless racing every episode,
but I'm not liking the way it's executed in ep 9 and 10.
Too much "stoppages" during the race to flash back to the backstory,
and it's killing the momentum of the race for me. Nice cliffhanger on ep 10 though.
