Also you can't just go and buy an F12. Where as if you have the money you can walk into lambo and buy an aventador.

That makes it MUCH easier to choose for someone with cash on hand...unless they're a die hard Ferrari lover

Go to Lamborghini dealer, i want a aventador, sure what colour? pay boom see ya in 6 months for the delivery.

But yea you're right, people who are just buying a supercar because their friend has one will walk into Lambo instead because they can't get the Ferrari right away.

For the F12 you need to "apply" to buy one. Because there is so few allocated, first dibs will go to current owners who have owned a couple Ferraris already. So if you currently don't own a Ferrari even though you have the money, you're SOL. There's a waiting list right now for them, but once they start building for North America, you would go in and choose all your options/colors etc and then wait 4-5-6 months for it to be built/shipped.
