Love my Legacy Wagon. Reliable, cheap to work on, power is half decent, and my base model comes with pretty much everything you need, even a 5 speed manual.

But the one thing they didn't put on the base model FOR SOME REASON are the brakes from every other model! It has Impreza wagon brakes, with rear drums, and the SUCK. I plan on swapping them out in the spring.

EVO > STi any day

corners better, stiffer suspension, better brakes, faster, better boost feel

I'd buy a ralliart hatch in a heart beat if it came in stick. Looks a lot better than WRX imo.

In Canada, EVO only comes in 5spd in base trim.
Everywhere else, with the 5 or 6 spd, and leather options etc coupled with the manual, I agree.

It has tons of personality. If it didn't it wouldn't be the STi's most well known contender.

get a 06 if u can, no reason to go for a 07 unless u really want that pearl white paint and a bit more evenly spaced gearbox, other then that, the 07 has stuff taken out here and there compared to previous years.

Evo Xs never came in 6 speed manual though, not just in Canada.
