I think cassels require you to have 5 mil before getting beacon. They will adjust your liability there.

$998 p/year | How does the coverage of Megson Fits compare to Beacon? I did an online quote and Megson is 50% cheaper than what Beacon quoted me over the phone...

Pay for the year and your covered for fire/theft/Vand well the bike sits (if you don't ride all year). I insure over the phone, they mail me the papers really easy. I've had my class 5 for 14 years not sure if that makes a difference in rates or not. Motorcycle Insurance - Megson FitzPatrick - Megson FitzPatrick

what coverage you want and what is your driving record? those will play heavily on how much you pay, but for a 250, its relatively cheap.

it's summer guys time to re-insure your bikes if you haven't already!
On a side note, my friend just got his class 6 motorcycles license and he's buying a Kawasaki Ninja 300ABS, with class 5 drivers, he has never gotten ticket or been in any accidents. I'm not too sure what he's looking for in insurance, but I'm going to assume collision and the basics. How much do you guys think he'll be paying?

ICBC - $1,395 yr. or approx $115 mo. | I'm guessing you could save $250-400 a year changing your optional coverage to private.
