I'd love to know about this too.
Sugar ray's seems pretty cheap at $300 for a whole year, but from what I've heard you're only there to pay for the gym's rent and not much else... I heard they don't really do instruction unless they see potential in you (at 25, there's practically 0 potential there) and otherwise you're on your own.
I've always wanted to pick up boxing (maybe kickboxing, but none of that grappling stuff) and at this point there doesnt seem to be much options. Only sugar rays seems to post their membership rates online, so research into gyms is kind of blind at this point...

Boxing is hard to find. Of all the contact sports, its the least team centered. In mma, you tend to train more as a team, sparring partners, etc.
I found boxing gyns are either like sugar rays, where you are on your own, or at a place where its more boxerscize. They show you techniques, drills, etc..but that's all you do.
I'd love to find one too Posted via RS Mobile |

I'm looking for a gym as well. Nothing too too expensive either. There's on in new west but it's like $15/week...
