Here comes the A/T vs M/T war.

Definitely getting a DCT M4 as my next car, my M/T Z pisses me off in traffic which is pretty much every time I drive the car to and from work. Rather drive my wife's most boring car ever made the Audi B8 A4 than my car.

It's pretty much a known fact now that AT's outperform MT's in every way possible since like 10 years ago, I was in denial when I got my Z. Told myself AT's cant shift as fast as manual, but god damn even non DCT AT shifts up and down faster than my MT.

If you chose a manual because you thought it shifts faster... You're doing it wrong. Dual clutch autos will always shift faster than a manual. The quickness of shifting is not why you get a manual.

Yes, my first car was an AE86 and it was awesome. In terms of "fun", I'd say the Camry and A4 is about the same. Definitely feels better in the A4, but the steering makes me puke.

Buddy with the SC blew one of his front tires last night.. bead ripped right off. Had to deliver some wooden planks to him so he could jack it up and swap to his spare.

Just had the chance to test drive two e90 m3 manual sedan vs e92 m3 dct ON THE TRACK. Holy the auto feels so much better. Because you can downshift so much more aggressively it can scrub off a bit of speed via engine braking which can be the diff between understeer and neutral steering. Trivial but you also really notice the crappy pedal placement on the manual car also.
