Our front door has the plastic stuck on, EVERY person who comes into the house comments on it. Most annoying thing ever...

Only thing I can see working is the usual set of wooden planks. Thing is, those aren't permanent, and can be a pain to set up if you're in a rush. Or, can you park your car at an angle LOL.

Should just build a ramp with 2x4s or as mentioned use the other side, I drag my lip going in and out of the garage :(

It's a more permanent solution, just make sure the city doesn't really notice.. But where your front end, ends, there's a small crack in the alley cement. Why not use quick-dry cement and pour the ramp out to there? To satisfy the "overall appearance" just do it for both garages to match. :D

It won't be totally permanent just because the quick-dry won't bond properly to the cement below, but it should last for a decent amount of time. (I've done patch jobs on my driveway that lasted 3-5 years)

wood?... rain... nope, one day he will drive out and it will snap, try making to small brideges out of steel? and a little v support under it to the ground and leave it out? 50-60$ metal and a few welds.. done

looks like water would have to pass thru anyways so this solves that also

People are assholes though, and it'll probably get stolen within a week unless it's bolted to the ground or something.

Surprised no one has mentioned it yet, but that driveway doesn't look that bad. The angle you are coming at it however,:heckno:. Costco used to have those rubber mats too that are about an inch thick that are specifically for steep curbs. Back when I lived in edmonton we used those.

Which bodyshop and how much? I have nearly identical damage and I'm shopping around :(

PM me if you'd prefer!

Before she got washed. I don't know if the VS-XX are as big of a pain to wash as my old NT03's.

kakucaekz 03-08-2013 09:36 PM

Hm, I too just got my car back from the bodyshop. But it wasn't for damage repair, but rather a full exterior respray.
