Gave her a quick wash, still pretty stock. I was going to grab coils and slap on spacers, but decided to save up for some cv3s before lowering.

Hahaha so awesome. Some kid pointed at me when I was cruising by commercial as I rolled by real slow. I waved and smiled and his Mom said he said "its lightning Mcqueen" I said it was the best compliment I've ever gotten.

^lol, I get kids who call my car "Bumblebee" when I drive by.

This would be my dream garage... just missing a white NSX-R, white Corvette ZR1 :D

got to ride my r6 race bike for the first time over the weekend. best two days i've had all year :D

Any major difference between the BMW and the R6? Which do you prefer for the track?

pretty much everything on the s1000rr feels better than the r6. the bike is better built, and the suspension and brakes are a lot better. the 200 rear tire is a LOT harder to turn with than the 180 i have on the r6. but more importantly, the r6 wont fling me off the bike when im aggressive on the throttle coming outta corners. so what im basically trying to say is... im not good enough to ride the 1000 lol :okay:


edit: i prefer the r6 a lot more than the s1000 on track. the adjustable ohlins steering damper helped a lot with head shake and i was able to soften it all the way while still keeping the front end planted. i'm also planning on getting new forks and rear shock for the r6, as the stock ones are way too soft.

Went to SerialNine to get all 4 corners rolled.
G did awesome work. Took his time, blended everything in, and clearanced where it was possibly needed.

But then this happened. This is through no fault from them. When it was painted the Pearl white, somebody cut it there for some reason, and bondo + painted over it. Didn't even bother to weld it. Result: Rusted through, and cleanly broke off.

He warned me that the paint might crack. I figured it was just surface rust that I could just grind out, and get it filled + painted. I was so wrong.

Getting it painted on Monday.

Still doesn't really feel like "my whip" but none the less it's been fun. almost done with interior, couple more things to come then I'll be content.
