How do you like it so far

fliptuner 07-06-2013 07:04 PM

I have to do the rear trailing arm bushings and rear springs/shocks but otherwise, seems fine. Good power, decent options, etc..

Be sure to thoroughly hose out the wheels wells - they're probably caked with road grime. Mainly from the fender flares and lip. Also do the front fenders from where the front door hinges are. I swear I hosed out at least 10, probably 15lbs of sand, dirt and leaves.

That reminds me, I should check to make sure the sunroof drains are clear.

Yup usually always spend some time hosing the wheel wells, but never thought about the front fenders.

Thanks for the advice!

Dude you'll be fine. Last summer I drove to Cali, and 2 weeks ago I drove through the desert to Vegas, stanced as above.

Your 4x4 will be fine. :P

I know it's not a car, but after two years of owning an iPhone, I finally found a way to post pictures from Flickr w/ my iPhone! Usually you can't!

no real issue. just kept bottoming out at this one spot on hwy 180 in san fran heading back to the hotel... every single freakin time, merging onto the hwy from downtown.

that and a chunk of tire off a semi took out my front lip a bit. trip was good. if anything it loosened up my suspension from lack of movement over the years.

and these are my "use them while my back heals from accident" set. much more rubber on the 18s, much more cushion for my aching back.
