I was traveling west on 54th ave. Some dude decided not to look and pass thru vivian, when I was maybe 15-20meteres away. I thought the driver was going to stop before the island. Then it was too late, he didn't stop and

I was like OH FUCK MEEEEE.......BOOOOOMMMMM SMMMASSHSH airbags deployed, tires screeching. 180 turn hit the curb then rolled onto the sidewalk.

Best reliable car I've owned thus far. Recently added exhaust, upgraded brakes, intake, sound system, tow hitch. I'm sad. Looks like a write-off. There's so much damage.

NOW, my whole back is tweaked, including my neck. I just don't get any luck with any of the vehicles I've owned. this is my 3rd accident being hit by someone not looking.

I feel your pain. My STI was egged on Canada Day. Shit got all into the weather seals on the drivers side windows and ran down the doors. Must have happened late night or early morning. Shit was baked on by the time I got to my car in the afternoon. Luckily it all came out without any damage. I noticed many other vehicles in my neighborhood that were hit as well. Fuckin' lil' punks.

^ :megusta: How is she?

westopher 07-17-2013 09:37 AM

It's full of winter wheels and tires right now, so pretty shitty haha. Moar low will come soon, but this car will not be slammed like my gti. Hopefully we get some good money for our wedding so I can spend it on some ac schnitzers instead of the honeymoon lol.

Rubbing in the rears now, needs roll, maybe pull. Westopher, your old GTI had Eurolines I think? If so I saw it today in Surrey.

westopher 07-17-2013 11:17 PM

They were rays victrix, but yeah basically the same wheels. New owner is in surrey. Hope he's loving it. As for the rubbing, is rear camber easily adjustable? I ran like -3.9 and tires still lasted forever since the car was aligned properly.

dared3vil0 07-17-2013 11:19 PM

^ You sold it to someone from Surrey? Dear god please don't let him put 20" chromies and a massive fart can on it...

westopher 07-17-2013 11:27 PM

He's probably going to keep it as is. He really liked the car but was too scared of the low.

essel 07-18-2013 12:18 AM

Dear god that's a gorgeous M. Techno violet easily one of my favourite colours on the e36 besides estoril blue.

Westopher: excellent score! congrats. gorgeous color. any further details? starting a build thread? I'd say leave it as is personally. Is there anything that needs to be taken care of right away? Shifter linkage good? Suspension and bushings?

<---in for moar!!

DEADBEA7 07-18-2013 11:17 AM

I bet this is the plan:

deadbea7 pretty much has the idea. Not going to go super low but still want to have a nice low stance on some nice wheels. Suspension has new bilsteins about 20k ago. Shifter was overhauled maybe around the same time, a bit notchy but feels decent. All the rear suspension bushings and stuff has been done. The car has 127k on it, and really doesn't show its age at all. I'm 3rd owner. I paid a bit more than what you can find some m3s for, but the car is basically perfect and was just a "hop in and go" car which is so hard to find. No accidents ever. As for building stuff, I'm going to probably have to wait a bit because now most of what I have for expendable income is going to the wedding as its less than 2 months away, and we haven't paid for everything yet. After though its open season.:fullofwin: And those wheels above are in the top choices. Others are OZ futura/pegasus or mitos. There is a set of 17x8.5 17x10 staggered alpina classics for sale, or maybe some CCWs. Hoping to get something by winter to run for a day or 2 and take some photos before I do some mountain trips. Coils are first priority now though.

dared3vil0 07-18-2013 11:40 AM

Wedding? I vote :fuckthatshit: and mod the E36! Have a little get together after you tie the knot in the most basic way possible! Maybe my age (lack there of) is showing...
