Is the poop diareah? It might be stomach flu (gastro)/food poisoning. Is the pain really sharp for a few minutes, then goes away, and then it comes back again?

Should get it checked out asap. I had stomach flu(gastro) and after a day I couldn't stand it anymore and went to ER.

it wasnt straight up DIARRHEAZ but it wasnt your perfect 10/10 poop either

and yes the pains come and go. at different times of the day the pain would be dull but sometimes its sharp as hell and i have to go into fetal position.

where would you contract such a thing? the last meal i ate before conceiving these pains was sticky rice. Then again i'd expect it to be digested by now...

when the pains are unbearable i have thought about going to the hospital since doctor clinics are now closed but i guess i'll just tough it out till tmr

It could be from anything, including a bad infection like appendicitis. If it gets bad enough to inflame and break open, GG

Yeah, the pains come and go. I would feel fine for a while, and then out of no where the sharp pains come back, and it was really bad to the point where I just laid in bed in fetal position as well.

After like 1-2 days I couldn't take it anymore, went to the ER at like 9pm and got a blood test, took some pills (didn't really help, just made me go to the washroom..). After 3hrs~ I did feel a bit better and left the ER. The next morning I felt alright, but by afternoon the pains came back AGAIN. So I went to my family doctor the next day and they received the blood results, and said I caught some virus in my stomach (could be either food/ or just touching something). He prescribed me different pills from the ER, and these worked a lot better. After a few days the pains started to go away, and the diarrhea began to stop.

Before heading to the ER, I took Tums, Pepto Bismol, and etc, and these didn't help at all.

Remember to drink Gatorade/Powerade to restore fluids.

it isn't always the last meal that will cause the problems. it can be food from up to a week ago, depending on bacteria or whatever and its incubation period. like others said, go to a doctor asap. if it's a bad case of food poisoning, you may just need your stomach flushed out.

Yeah definetly sounds like a virus/inflamation in your abdominal area. I had smoked salmon once, and it came to me the day after, and trust me it was hell. It was literally so bad I had to limp my way from the car to the hospital.

Go to a doctor, but if the wait is too long and it really bothers you, head straight to ER and don't wait because the pain will just augment itself. Chances are, if its still bothering you now, then it's not your simple stomach flu and you will need medicine prescribed by a physician.

Is the pain at the bottom of your stomach? Your symptoms sound the same as when my appendix almost ruptured.. Pain got so bad I was in fetal position.. You definetly should seek medical advice as if your appendix ruptures it releases a lot of bad shit into your body and can be a hard recovery

this may sound stupid but happened to me!

lactose intolerant, i used to have dairy fairly regularly and i started noticing bad stomach aches, nothing else, and i went about eating normally cuz i didnt assume anything, maybe just a flu or something... weeks went buy, still had the bad stomach cramps..

turns out my body decided i was lactose intolerant within a week or so, not to severe, can still eat pizza and stuff, but a bowl or cereal or icecream and im not getting up the next day.

Good luck dude! If the pain suddenly goes away there is a chance that it ruptured.
The surgery is pretty easy but you will be down a couple days.

LOL i feel your pain man. Last month I got sick one flu after another 3 times man. First one was super scratch throat of doom where it hurts to cough. Then when I started feeling better. Bam another one, this was dizziness and slight fever. After I got better after that one. Bam stomach flu, diarrhea for a week LOL, I didn't really feel sick. Maybe just super dehydrated and dizzy because of it. After that I became a germa-phobic. Every time someone sneezed or coughed in the car I was like open the F-in window!

Heres a link Norovirus outbreak hits Vancouver General Hospital - British Columbia - CBC News

"Norovirus is circulating in the community right now, and it does so every year at this time. Whenever something is circulating in the community, it is going to be reflected in our hospital and facilities as well."

One ward in the hospital's Centennial Pavilion is "under containment protocol," she said.

D'Angelo could not say how many people have become ill from the virus — which could in fact be one of many that cause acute gastroenteritis, which is sometimes also called "stomach flu."

I went through it and I know someone else who did. Prepare for a delicious week of awesomeness! It lasted roughy a week for me hahahha.

Hope you are feeling better. Though I doubt it is this (due to your age and not as severe symptoms) but my dad was diagnosed with gall stones last month. He had INTENSE pain in his abdomen area and you could see his stomach swell. Couldn't sleep for the first night (thought maybe it was just something he ate) and took him to the ER the next day. Blood tests were done on the spot.

Not to scare you or anything, but if it keeps happening push to see a gastro specialist, and ask for a colonoscopy to be performed. My mom had stomach pains, and it turned out to be stomach cancer. She just had her entire stomach removed over the holidays.

The oncologist mentioned that people that come from asia are at a higher risk, due to the food that consumed. I am assuming that there is a lot of pollution and pesticides that are used which contaminates the food.

Thanks for the input guys. I actually feel no pain now, but ive been getting the runs the past 2 days. The doctor was right; whatever was causing the pain earlier seems to be getting flushed out.
