^ that and any other advice similar to it won't work because the problem is the bacteria deep inside the fabric that's giving the smell off. So putting fabric softener, coffee beans rice or whatever else won't work simply because they do nothing to kill this bacteria

And bleach theoretically should work wonders but it doesn't.... Best bet would be to get some medical grade cleaners, liquids, like shit they use at doctor and dentists offices to disinfect materials. Those can also be used on clothes, it is so potent that it will make your clothes or shoes smell chemically for a few days, but the bad smell before completely disappears

i Bet you,100% this stuff will work...go to any hockey place & they should have it stock,i paid about 22 dollars for it and gets rid of the smell ASAP & leaves no odor behind....slight tiny pine tree smell but it goes away fast & smells like nothing.

it's all natural so that crap won't be leaving any rashes on your foot...pretty much use it on anything that smells bad..

rotten milk one time dumped on the couch & it had this awful cottage cheese smell, one or two sprays of this and it completely got rid of the smell :S...thankfully i bought it for my Work Boots first, then it worked on this.
