Is it bad that I kinda like that blue EG hatch?

I mean, different front bumper and return the interior back to stock-ish and it'll be pretty nice.

Uh uh. It must remain as a perfectly encapsulated blast from the past. Prelude taillights and all.
Reminds me of the days of three spoke anteras and chrome neepers. So much nostalgia.

Lol, I would keep the prelude tails as I actually like those haha but there are just some things that just won't work these days like that front bumper.

I will say, considering how much $$$ was probably dumped into that thing, the price is reasonable at least

twitchyzero 04-09-2018 10:15 PM

Absolutely retarded. $35k for 230k for a basic bitch early model silver with 18s can fuck right off. That car will be lucky to break $20k with that mileage.

The labeling might be messed up, but in terms of actually pricing the car, it doesn't seem to be unreasonable at all.

Ricer sticker = R line :lawl:

VW is starting to offer Alltrack (AWD) on their Golf wagons. If they offered that option on their new 1.8 TSI Golf hatchback, it'd be a pretty good solid car. Tune/Chip the 1.8 TSI and you'd have a Golf R lite maybe at 220 hp with AWD.

I have the wagon awd golf. It's good but not great. Electronic all wheel drive is just meh.....gas mileage is good for a 1.8t. Roughly 8/100 mixed driving. the guy at the dealership said chip it to get 220hp and 200ftlbs but it'll use premium gas

I bet that people saw the smoke, thought it's from the tires, while in reality, it's from the clutch burning up.

I mean, if everything else checks out(assuming the guy didn't fuck the other parts), that's not a bad deal. $350 for the car and what, a grand for a new clutch. That's pretty good.

Just have to shake my head on this one:

https://images.craigslist.org/00606_...U_1200x900.jpg

$7k on a 250k km EP3 is probably quite a bit overpriced nowadays. A nice looking 04 car can probably ask for that, but a well used example with scuffs and windshield crack has no business asking for anything close to that amount.

Additionally, the huge laundry list of recent repairs actually scares me, instead of making me feel like I'm getting a good bargain with new parts. I feel like the car is worn out and has hit a point where a ton of stuff is now in need of replacement, and the owner has finally decided that the car has now become a money pit that he no longer wants to sink $$$ into.

Replaced a manual transmission? Before 250k?

I like how every needle dick who tries to pass off off their v6 mustang/Camaro/challenge as a higher trim v8 insists on putting loud exhaust which makes it plainly obvious its a v6

UnknownJinX 07-18-2018 08:49 AM

Not local, but...

$35k for a 11 RX-8? Let alone an automatic?

I know someone with a 04 convertible V6 Mustang who has a loud exhaust, although it's put on by the previous owner, and he doesn't exactly feel like spending money to change it back.

The worst part is that one of my other friends drove his car and said that it feels a lot slower than it should be. It seems like the exhaust is a bit too wide for its own good. Those old V6s only had 12 valves, so low-end torque is their game, and the wide exhaust ruins that.
