I get not everyone is a car audio person but the Type S was Alpine’s entry-level sub at the time and it appears to be an entry-level amplifier to go with it in a generic enclosure. You could get the amp, box, subs, and wiring kit for less than $500 back in the day. Can’t really tell which head unit it is but looks similar to most of Alpine’s midrange units, so maybe $200-$300 back then.

Certainly not talking F1 series or Type X here.

You'll be shocked to learn that it's been for sale off and on for at least a year or so.

I'm not sure if that's how it was, but I drove that gen gts Celica and it was absolutely gutless and had no torque. You had to redline the thing so it hits lift. But that's over 6500 rpm or something like that, so it was so bad in city driving. This was directly compared to the 2 dc2 gsrs that I had at the time.

I'm just gonna craigslist fail this one for the way the ad is written and the fact that he's too lazy to even post a picture of a car he's asking $65K for. I don't really know if the asking price is a fail or not but reading the ad gave my eyeballs chlamydia. And what does he mean no tax? Anyone who buys that car is paying 12% at the insurance office when they register it.
