What the hell did they do to this poor car. https://www.autotrader.ca/a/Dodge/Vi...GaANthqJVTy19I

Eh, cheapest viper I’ve seen in a while. Toss the wheels and hope the outside is vinyl and it paint. You could make it look good again

68style 08-15-2022 02:06 PM

^ Biased. You're partial to superfluous fins and wings.

JDMDreams 08-15-2022 04:38 PM

It's not that bad given how crap the usdm interiors are, it does look like a set of quality 2 3 piece wheels and you probably need the down force so you don't go full Mustang

Can someone school me on why these are worth these much? Know nothing about them

68style 08-18-2022 07:13 PM

I don’t think they sold the Avant in North America… that said it’s not worth that ask in any way shape or form lol

westopher 08-18-2022 07:36 PM

Yeah RPI has never exactly priced anything reasonably. I remember looking at suspension from them and it was over double what I could get it from the states for.

SkunkWorks 08-18-2022 08:09 PM

Crazy... 105k for a rs4 with broken suspension :heckno:

It’s not. Last year there were 2 rs6 avant for $35k each on CL

westopher 08-19-2022 03:09 PM

That’s not an rs4 though. Totally different ballgame. Still not worth close to that, but it’s like comparing an e30 m3 and e34 m5. Totally different in terms of value and desirability.

I’m aware. But a v10 rs6 avant historically was worth more IIRC. But I know what you’re saying.

35k vs 105k? We agree on that it’s craxkpipe

Personally, as an AE86 owner I'd love this to be the going rate:

Imagine having that much un-diagnosed head truma

bcrdukes 08-22-2022 11:38 AM

I hope that extra zero was genuinely a typo :suspicious:

radeonboy 08-22-2022 11:39 AM

I can't even tell if that's serious of a troll post

donk. 08-22-2022 11:42 AM

Would a guy named Greg make a troll post?

kjlks 08-23-2022 01:33 AM

I mean I recently saw someone put up a panda ae86 for 86k on marketplace... genuinely unsure if troll or not cause people be out of their minds nowadays

Does he think 1985 was only 20 years ago or something? I can't wrap my head around the ownership of this.

Maybe Greg is the female owner for the last 20 years? :troll:

GLOW 08-23-2022 11:41 AM

you don't know how people identify these days

has to be an extra zero there

68style 08-23-2022 12:36 PM

He's probably selling it on behalf of her... one of those guys who puffs up his chest and says he knows cars when he doesn't know his own asshole from a hole in the ground and told her that thing is worth a king's ransom.

Probably expects to take a healthy commission on it too.

I understand it as the original owner had it for 17 years and the current owner is the 2nd owner that has owned it for 20 years now.
