stupid question from me: why not have it at BCIT? good central location in the lower mainland and plenty of big parking lots on the south end of the campus. Or would this be too much of a liability for BCIT?

you can get away with it if you got, lets say, 50 cars. but if you have the numbers that plan on showing up, imperial parking will require the cost of each vehicle to park there that day. you can do the math.
