Looks like the tires this have have about a two lap span where the drivers can push as hard as they can before they severely die off. It should produce some interesting Q3 sessions and race starts.

I think McLaren's are sandbagging for some reason + Melbourne Park is arguably Button's favorite track + wet race weekend with Sunday to be clear, mixed + changing conditions = Button FTW

Damn TSN no more practice sessions on tv. Any legit way to watch practice sessions live?

We Canadians have horrible F1 coverage (and yet we are one of the F1 venues)

Can't wait to watch it live this June in Montreal and then Le Mans in France!

I am less bothered with TSN not broadcasting practice sessions this year (although I believe they have confirmed they will be showing live practice for at least the 1st three races). Personally I find practice kind of boring.

What bothers me more is TSN does ZERO pre-race or post-race show. I enjoyed SPEED for their pre-race show especially. And now that SPEED lost its rights to NBC, we have nothing.

Another thing I hate about TSN -- they always pick the worst moment to cut to commercial. Yes I realize it's side-by-side, but at least pick a moment in race where the chance of action is less likely to happen (like during a safety car). Instead they go side-by-side right when the pit window opens or when there's an on-track battle.

If this was hockey, you wouldn't suddenly cut to side-by-side commercials during a power play. But the same logic doesn't seem to apply to F1.

Don't forget guys, qualifying is at 11 tonight on TSN! :)
