Kia Pro Cee'd GT

I'm going to be honest here. I once swore to myself that I will never ever buy a Korean car. But I'm not too sure anymore. With this kind of designs coming out left and right, I can see the Koreans making something truly awesome in a few year's time. I think once they get past the "let's only make it pretty but shitty to drive" stage, shit could get pretty serious!

We may or may not see the cee-apostrophe-dee in North America because of the Rio, but if Kia ever released something as amazing-looking as that with some numbers to back it up, I'd definitely switch cars.

That car, ~250HP, 2.0 turbocharged 4, ~$25,000 6MT i'd consider buying one... And that's saying alot for me, Considering i usually rip on korean cars.

Korean cars' suspension tuning is still subpar compared to other makers.

The Hyundai's I've driven ranging from the Genesis Coupe down the Elantra Touring hasn't been great.

I guess they have to start somewhere, like this thing. But the 1.6 turbo is disappointing, I was hoping for the 2.0T

People seem to forget that the attitude towards Korean cars now is the same as the attitude towards Japanese cars a few decades ago... They were cheap little jokes.

The reality is they're getting better every year.

Well. Some of them are.

First time I took notice of a Kia was this:

Not the most original design, and I think it could have used a bit more here, and a bit less there, but it didn't look 'cheap'. The younger car companies are willing to learn fast to catch up.

New Kia Optima and Hyundai's Sonata and Genesis were when I really thought

A couple of my friends were really close to pulling the trigger on these, but they decided otherwise.

The buyers dilemma the Korean brands have to overcome is, (or at least my friends who recently bought new cars), "Do I get a brand new Kia/Hyundai? or do I get a slightly used is250/TL/Impreza/whatever for roughly the same price?"

They both went with the latter, which is hard to turn away.

Don't do it!

Dealers are SHIT and hard to deal with, hated the lack of the support.

Best part they decided to void my warranty (all of it) because I lowered it.

Nothing wrong with korean cars...
At least for me, getting from A to B is first most important, then price...
