[Updated at 11:45 p.m. ET] The San Bernardino Sheriff's Department is echoing the LAPD's refutation of reports that Dorner's body was found in the burned cabin, but it acknowledges investigators believe a body is there.

"We believe (the suspect) is still inside the cabin that caught fire," an SBSD spokeswoman said.

Later, she said, "(Investigators) believe a body is in there," but that investigators still haven't been inside the cabin to look for one.

"It is too hot. (It's) still smoldering" and not safe to enter, she said.

"We believe that the person that barricaded himself inside the cabin and engaged in gunfire with our deputies ... is still inside there even though the building burned," she said.

21 seconds :suspicious:

radioman 02-12-2013 08:40 PM

ya it was brought up before with records of them saying burn it down and something about bringing something in for the fire

The7even 02-12-2013 09:01 PM

Oh man if its not him and they burned it down.. I'd love to see the LAPD go to shit and go through a cleansing..

StylinRed 02-12-2013 09:12 PM

what if Dorner simply busted into a random cabin that a family was currently using?

so Dorners goal of drawing attention to corrupt cops has succeeded; sadly nothing will likely happen

CharlesInCharge 02-12-2013 09:17 PM

He had tied up two ladies earlier who I believe got loose and called him in for the initial report. People in another forum are calling this Waco.

I'm going to help him BRB GAIZ!!! >.<

yea that would be an interesting development if the body isnt his.

btw i don't think those guys are LAPD since they are in another jurisdiction.

El Bastardo 02-12-2013 09:43 PM

Big Bear is in San Bernadino county so it would be their cops most likely.

It is a violation of the Geneva convention to use flame weapons against a civilian. It is murder to have a police officer do it intentionally to murder the occupant. Charge and convict the officer who authorized this.

That is fucking disgusting, even after all Dorner did, that is FAR from necessary. Drives home the point that they did not care about bringing him in at all.

Take the cops that authorized it to court to make up for what should have happened with Dorner, this is not acceptable.

All in one. So much speculation, so little answers...

At first I thought they were using the word "burner" like slang for a gun or smth. That chatter was pretty disturbing though.

I like how it ended with "There might be a basement..."

Talk about a movie...

I'd have to read in deeper detail to be sure of this, but I'm fairly certain that the Geneva Conventions do not apply to this situation.

radioman 02-12-2013 11:01 PM

They relate to war (from my understanding). I just thought the bit about when does burning someone alive become OK.

vafanculo 02-12-2013 11:01 PM

I don't mind what they did. If this were a regular criminal, then yes, that was overkill. But in this situation, he had no intentions of getting caught. Even in his manifesto he states he knows he won't live through this. This guy was putting up a fight till the end, and wanted to take as many cops out as possible.

This whole story is messed to begin with ..might as well have a messed up ending.

dinamix 02-12-2013 11:03 PM

Fuck your Geneva conventions. This guy murdered innocent people . He can burn on earth and in hell.
