Where to go to get car inspection?

Been looking to buy my first car for a while. Was finally able to find a couple I like. They are around $3,500 (my budget)

Was wondering where i should get the cars inspected at. Do I go to BCAA or a dealership? I imagine that mechanics are also an option, but I don't know any mechanics since I have never needed to go to one yet. What are your suggestions?

Thanks!

request to have a look at the check list sheet for the pre purchase inspections.

depending on the depth, can range from an hr inspection to 3-4hrs.

either way, the standard fluids, suspension, steering, chassis, body, engine, electrical should all be in the inspection

This will give you an idea as to what they charge for how detailed of an inspection they do.

Sometimes a Vehicle specific shop is a great place to Do a PPI. Usually around $100 or so. If I was buying an older BMW
I know the shop if take it to. Same as miatas etc. specialty shops know all the problem areas and typical wear and common failure points.

What car are you looking at buying?
