As it happens, she wanted to go to a rock-and-gem show with a co-worker that day, but passed... she was just happy that I'd passed on something I wanted to do, and said if I didn't mind her going to her thing, she didn't mind me going to my thing :D

If it's a nice day, I wouldn't be surprised if I end up checking out some other trails around there rather than dragging ass all the way out to Spanish Banks. Or maybe just hanging around the flats. :D

So who's gonna hang around stave? I'm down for running trails too. Either stave/rs meet or whatever or I'm gonna start installing my dual cases since it's my only day off! Decisions decisions

Ok yah update: was thinking 730-800 to have enuff time to mess around in the flats and just incase we might need to do some recovery and maybe hit a few trails up to the lookout..but we'll see how time goes...as for dates it's gonna be on the 24th of march (Sunday)

i'll come, I finally took the new truck off road today... Did better than i thought. Except i kept compressing the wheel against the inner fender... Need more clearance.

i wanna come!!! since selling my old 4x4 rig ive only been to stave a few times

just like dared3vil0, ill be in a newer truck thats still stock, has 4x4 n all, but the only down side is that my gf will have to drive....and last time we went to the flats...her first words were "LETS 4X4!!!!" and headed straight for deep mud.....

but ill be comming from burnaby, so not sure if it'll be worth going from burnaby to stave to spanish banks...but if a few ppl will stay up at stave, i just might make it a day event!

ps - this trucks an auto...not sure how well autos are when it comes to 4x4ing...never quite taken it hard or anything...think id be able to keep up?

I dunno about the others, but making the two-hour haul out to Spanish Banks is sounding less and less attractive, especially when my place is only a half hour from there.

my truck came fully loaded with the tow package lol, im already set to be pulled from pit to pit lol.
my buddy has my 10,000lb winch that can hook up to the trailer receiver, ill see if i can get it back from him.


when i got my new truck...i gave ford my old rig for 500$ :( regret it every day...

You do realize a tow package means nothing when it comes to truck recovery, right? You will have an empty receiver. Useless for towing you out of the mud with...

I'm trying to say mine already has one(fully loaded), I bought the truck used. :p
I was saying I can try to get my winch back which can be thrown in the receiver as well so I'm completely useless and able to help someone out :)

Ok so who's staying at stave???? Gas is expensive and Spanish banks is far, so I'd like to bum around stave. People with less capable vehicles can ride along in mine, I have room for 4 passengers. I'll also pull people out so stop worrying about getting stuck! No one gets left behind. Usually..
