Why? Berz out. Posted via RS Mobile |
There's nothing badass about that in any way shape or form, it's stupid. If you want a G-Wagen, get a G-Wagen. If you want a triple axle badass machine get a Deuce of some sort. /thread |

Canada and many other countries spec G-Wagons for military use. America's choice of the Deuce and Hummer makes them the odd ones, because they are unfavorably large in many circumstances. Now, lets see some G-Wagons that are actually cool. http://s12.postimage.org/hxeulitot/5...f9380_prod.jpg http://s7.postimage.org/kk8k9cv6j/05...ghanistan3.jpg http://s18.postimage.org/nx70gp5c9/g_wagon.jpg http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3031/2...0bb_z.jpg?zz=1 http://s7.postimage.org/xtuqy70t7/merc_g_wagon_03.jpg http://s17.postimage.org/h8usjae6n/merc_g_wagon_05.jpg http://s12.postimage.org/9q40rlt59/32886.jpg http://s7.postimage.org/6l27m1a6z/16...nside_view.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4047/...b911cdf0_o.jpghttp://img399.imageshack.us/img399/6...040666a0en.jpg |
Or just get a unimog Posted via RS Mobile |

The extremely high ground clearance makes passengers climbing out of one clumsy, and further, it acts in concert with the frame, which is meant to flex and bend, to create a very unsteady vehicle on road. Of course, those are also the characteristics which make it one of the most unbelievable off-road vehicles ever designed. I can't resist - Unimog pictures! http://petrolsmell.com/wp-content/up...ure-Angles.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ona/Unimog.jpg http://www.xda-wallpapers.com/file/3...greens_827.jpg http://s17.postimage.org/eds9q13rj/U..._800x600_1.jpg http://www.benzworld.org/forums/atta...irtruck_lg.jpg http://hq-wall.net/wall_preview/1442...g-Dakar-04.jpg http://petrolsmell.com/wp-content/up...enz-unimog.jpg http://flipacars.com/pics/Mercedes-B...mog-411-04.jpg |
The only war capable machine I need for my take-over: http://www.biyokulule.com/sawiro/saw...ta%20wars1.jpg Off-road capable and I can deploy my force of freedom fighters anywhere in the country. |

Just think this one off example/option is silly. G-wagen's on their own are wicked machines, equivalent to Rubicons and Defenders. There's a local guy with a G-wagen on 37's with little to no lift, thing goes anywhere. |
The G is by far one of my favourite vehicles. Completely overpriced for what it is, but a total utilitarian in every way shape and form. That is if your not afraid of scratching it :p One day... somehow http://images.caricos.com/l/land_rov..._1920x1080.jpg |
i dont think they used enough straps those unimogs are so cool http://i.ebayimg.com/13/!!fQIj!wBWE~...F!nhbQ~~_4.JPG |
There's nothing wrong with a 6 wheeled G-Wagon, especially when it's going to tackle the sand dunes of Middle East (which is where its going.) I think the larger unimogs are classed as tractors and not road vehicles, that puts it in a whole different game. If it wasn't for fuel consumption, I'd definitely save up for one. |
I was never a fan of the G class. Stupid expensive and it still has recirculating ball steering. I'll pass. |

It's still a road vehicle, and is distinctly different from something like an agricultural tractor or backhoe. Quote:

I have a new plan....one that doesn't use any gasoline at all. And the off-road abilities are endless: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-WNmjWFpo8C...Belephants.jpg |
