I believe it came with a 512mb micro sd. At that time, i was like *MIND BLOWN*, "HOW DID THEY PACK 512MB INTO SOMETHING THIS SMALL?"

I'm around 140th in line for my preorder with Rogers. What are the chances that I will get in on the first shipment starting April 19th?

Well I ordered one from Rogers today (had them waive the early hardware upgrade fee) so i'll be coming from the S3.
To those who have gotten it, what are your first impressions of the 'UltraPixel' 4MP camera? I keep getting mixed bag reviews looking it up.

But it is a cell phone camera so its no high quality point and shoot or SLR. The extra features make it better though (zoe, editing, panorama mode, rapid shooting etc).
Here is a small test of the panorama mode off my roof top patio...
^unedited.

Curious about how people find the phone. I've been looking into upgrading as TELUS has a 100$ free towards the One if you trade in your old phone. Reviews online obviously look good, but I always like hearing about it from a user after having it for a few weeks to months. Posted via RS Mobile |

Reviews online obviously look good, but I always like hearing about it from a user after having it for a few weeks to months. Posted via RS Mobile | I've had the phone for a week now. From what reviewers are saying online, it will likely be the phone of the year.
If you have any specific questions ask me. FYI. I upgraded from the nexus 4 The BAD (i'm being extremely picky here)
1) The power button/lock/unlock button is almost flush with the housing, mine is about 0.3-0.5mm above the housing, but it's almost flush. Which means it's harder to press than any other phone i've used. I have gotten used to it, but I just feel it should have been raised at least 2mm. My nexus 4 power button was adequate. (If you google this, you'll find numerous threads about it)
2) There are only two dedicated capacitative buttons.. The HTC logo in the middle is non-functional. This is super annoying as i'm used to three capacitative buttons from my nexus. I started using the multi-tasking button a lot and I don't like that I have to double tap the home button on the HTC One to get to the multitasking feature. I'm getting used to it though.
3) The sensitivity of the capacitative buttons aren't sensitive enough imo. I find myself double or even tripple pressing them to get them to work. I have a screen protector on it, but even without the screen protector (I didn't have one for the first two days) it was difficult to get a response. From the threads I read, HTC will be changing this in their next update apparently. This is the most annoying thing about the phone
4) The pattern lock screen is different, it serves the same purpose, but it's different and I don't like it. I prefer the nexus pattern lock screen instead
5) Sharing screen shots is fcuking stupid on this OS. To share a screen shot, you have to take a screen shot, manually save it to your gallery, exit, open your galley, navigate to the screen shot, open it, click it, hit share, share it. It takes at least 10 more clicks, i'm not joking. It's fcuking stupid. Whereas, my nexus I could share it right away with two clicks.
6) The stock Gallery is a cluster fcuk when you first use it. I downloaded quickpic. BUT, spend some time with the stock gallery, it is actually better in a lot of ways, I solely use the stock gallery now. The way the stock gallery organizes events/pictures is actually really handy. But, there are a lot of things that don't really make sense in the gallery, though the benefits for now are outweighing the negatives about it. It also integrates your facebook photo's which is a feature I really like and it also puts all your friends picture updates in it, kind of like how instagram is setup, I also prefer this.
7) I wasn't a fan of the stock launcer, so I highly suggest you download Nova Launcer prime or similar What I love
1) Beats, Boomsound - it is so awesome. It makes listening to music so much better. The DAC on this thing blows the Nexus out of the water. I can use the external speakers to listen to music in my shower now.
2) Camera and features are so amazing. The low light shots are so amazing. I didn't get a chance to use it at an EDM event yet, so I can't really comment on that yet. The next event i'm going to is VELD, so it'll be awhile. The features with the camera are really cool and amazing
3) Battery life on it is really good, better than the Nexus 4 for sure. I can get a day with it no problem. My nexus 4 battery would last me from 630am-4pm usually. With the HTC it will go from 630am-11pm when I sleep, with about 30% life to spare.
4) It's everything Android I love + the three most important things for a phone, it has a great camera, battery life, and great audio playback. Those are the only three things that were lacking from my Nexus. The camera is better than the iPhones camera and the audio playback is top notch thanks to boomsound by beats. Conclusion
It has its negatives, which could have easily been avoided, but I LOVE the phone. The HTC OS is not bad, I like a lot of their features and it isn't laggy/slow. Though, if my Nexus 4 had: better battery life, a better camera, and a better DAC player for audio, I would stick with the nexus. But, that's why the HTC One is better, it has all of those. I compared it to the Samsung S4 (for a week) and prefer the HTC One, I hate the screen on the S4, it looks so fake and toyish.

In regards to your "The Bad" 4,5, and 6, I think those are essentially just issues with the HTC OS which can be remedied by using Third Party apps?
For battery life, you say you're getting around 18 hours to get to 30%? Might I ask what all you have running during this time? (Constant Wifi/LTE/4G, Social Media Sync, Weather Sync, etc).

4) I didn't think to even look for another pattern lock. Good point.
5) I guess I was just comparing it to the nexus.
6) The thing is, I like a lot of the features of the HTC galley app that I don't think I could find with any other app. Which is a big part of the reason i'm sticking with their stock gallery.
For battery, I have constant WiFi with 4G, all social media syncs are on manual refresh, gmail is push, weather sync is every two hours. The thing I forgot to mention is that HTC has their own version of juicedefender, called "Power saver". So when it is turned on, it controls: cpu power, display brightness, and data connection. So it puts my data to sleep every so often.
I probably should have mentioned that, as it is kind of misleading since I didn't have such a feature with my Nexus 4. Sorry.
