I think we should be more open minded about these products made in China. A lot of Boeing and Airbus parts are currently made in China and even have assembly lines in China.
If you guys look at the mess Boeing is having with the 787, does that mean you wont board a Boeing plane as well?
Made in china. Would not board. Posted via RS Mobile
Seconded metal craftsmanship in China is just not up to par with the rest of the world, as well as quality control. I would not feel on something like this flying 30,000 feet in the air.

Think about those international flights coming in from China and circling YVR for final approach. People in Richmond need to beware of falling parts from these planes

on a side note... alot of aircraft components . military and civilian , are made in china..
Are you sure they're legit products though?
They're saying those made in China aircraft components are knock offs. Even ones that are used in military.
On the side note...if C919 can really reduce carbon emission by 50% compare to the A320 and B737, that would be pretty amazing achievement.

it's one thing to have its parts made somewhere but also another to have it assembled there. QC in assembly is probably more important in aeronautics. May be some plane geeks can fill me in.
I'm not picky about made-in-china goods although I do prefer other places of mfg
but my current stance is to not buy food originating from China
