I think it depends what tier you're in. I know in T1 it's a "Memorial Cup style" where the tier is trimmed by 1-7 and 2-6 matchups, and the rest of the teams play for seeding.

edit: It looks like all tiers have a "pool" system where teams play each other for seeding, and the top whatever teams in each "pool" cross over with each other

It really depends on which div you are in. Div's 12 and 13 only have 4 teams each so that is one vs 4 and 2 vs 3 where the winners play for the cup.
Div 3 and 7 have 6 teams so they play some best of 3 playoffs where the top 2 teams from each side play again in a final 4 format and then again as a final 2.
It is not the normal playoff formats.
Someone told me it isn't even a best of 3 game playoffs for div's 12 and 13. I think it is based on goals for.

Yea the tie breaker thing is ridiculous, hopefully we'll play against each other in the finals

Damn details? I was watching at 8 Rinks today around 5-6 but didn't see any emergency staff?

^Not sure... My game was at 4:00. Seemed serious as he had his eyes closed with the thing to help him breath over his mouth(not sure what its called). Don't think it was a big hit or else he would be in a head restrainer? Should've asked the ref as they were coming into the rink but was a bit shock to see something like that.

As for playoff tiebreakers.. Our game ended 6-6 and we didnt even get a shootout, now we have to wait and see if we're in the playoffs. Terrible way to end the season if we don't make it.

I've left the rink on a stretcher before . They were probably giving him laughing gas to ease the pain. That shit doesn't work lol

Just had our first playoffs game yesterday and this round robin format makes for a very confusing and outcomes especially with the ties. Thought there was going to be a shootout until the zamboni just came onto the ice right after the overtime

Right. For you guys, round 1 is a 3 team round robin for your pool so best record moves on. Makes sense not to waste time with a shoot out. Extra time wasted means more cost for ice rental for Ice604.
Basically, you guys are almost sure win to move into the finals unless that team wins by 4 or more goals.
The way I understand it, if they win by 3, then it will be based on goals against.
