I remember building one of those with my Engineer in WoW. I got the upgraded speed when I capped at level 60.

this is nothing new: Autogyro - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

He probably patented a small part of the big machine as patenting the entire machine is not possible due to prior art.

It's also the same type of machine a chinese farmer built with scrap a few years back.

That just look like gyrocopters...

Does Autogyro mean Automotive + Gyrocopter? Can it be driven on the road of does it have power to the wheels?

No, an autogyro is unique in that its propeller is powered by an engine thus producing forward thrust, and the rotor sitting atop the craft isn't powered at all. It rotates by way of what is called autorotation to produce lift. Basically, it turns because of the air flowing past it.

That's how an autogyro differs from a helicopter. A helicopter's rotor is powered by an engine.

Gyrocopter should just be another name for autogyro.
