Aren't Aventadors still hand assembled? I think they can at least break even given most of the drivechain and chassis is reused. They are selling it for 8 times the price of the Aventador.
^^ takes you to actual pics of the car from autoblog. Man is that thing ugly. Look at the wheel wells. Looks like they used 'straight' metal shears that did not want to turn corners. Brutal.

I hope top gear can get their hands on one, those extreme body parts better improve handling and aerodynamics as opposed to an extreme fashion statement
$4+ million for just 40 extra horsepower??? no thank you.... makes the Veyron SS look like a bargain
you're missing the point...the price obviously reflects its rarity

I doubt it given they weren't allowed to test the 250 gto when they featured it.

+1
I feel reventon lost a lot of its shock value when they released the aventador....all the styling cues were so similar
i could have done without the dropping headlamps and the vertical piece of the spoiler but it's nice to see some form coming back to the styling of Lamborghini as opposed to just function. The 90's where all about perfect aerodynamics and form, but imo those cars were mostly round style lacking forms. the 80's wher bad ass and it's nice to see some more extreme forms coming out like this lambo, the LFA and a car that i'd love to see in production, the HSV (which i'm hoping will be the body base for honda's new NSX).
