Not that it really matters since I can't find any 3080s I guess | You can buy any old PC with enough PCI 1x slots or you can buy that mining motherboard I posted above for $250 that comes with ram and a cpu plus 8 slots. no riser cables needed with that one.
Mikes as some 3080's for pre-order. I ordered 2 no idea when they will arrive. https://www.mikescomputershop.com/product/10930507

I pre-ordered EVGA 3080s because their warranty is super ez to deal with.

The idea's is to run multiple gpus off one computer to save power and make more money. I should post a pick of my rig to show you how jank it is.

These profit might be too good to be true......
Not sure if its something to do with today's dip...in result of more transactions happened. so that miners are getting more rewards.

The profitability should average out from what I read. So while it shows $20 at a given time, it should average out to the expected $10~ (in the case of a RTX 3080) unless you are consistently lucky with accepted shares.

What pool is that? Might want to fire up the 3070 to see if it's worth it
If I hadn't racked up tens of thousands in vet and dentist bills in the last month, I'd probably grab a 3080 myself |

but the payout per day is getting more actually.
here is the payout history
today so far 9:27AM, already $7.84 now. its not even half day yet. so, today could end up $15-16
thats why i was thinking those transactions happened in CC tradings are paying more (as reward) to miners. Quote:

It mines whatever the most profitable CC and Nicehash rewards in BTC.

You're making like $24 a day with two 1070s and a single 3080?
Yeah, something must be wrong, but I wouldn't be complaining.

Sometimes 1070 mines $5-7, dropped my jaw when i saw it.
but as i know, it should be somewhere around $2 a day.
these two days just gone crazy with all the transactions rewards.

My 3 card miner (use to be 5)
The rack is a shoe rack from Costco. The cards are hung by zipties. Sits in the garage. Runs 24/7. Does around 90 mh/s.
Good calculator to see how much you can make. Just type in your hash rate, power consumption, and power cost. https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining...iningPoolFee=1

Reminds me of people just using milk crates to house their mining rigs back in the day. Still a feasible and low cost solution. Quote:

Its been up and down like $2-4000 gap, couple times a day.

talking in thousands a day profit just by buy/sell couple times a day.

| Do you need to hook up a monitor? Or just hot swap when you need to?

talking in thousands a day profit just by buy/sell couple times a day. | You look like a genius as long as it keeps volleying up and down from 30k <> 40k... but it’s only good until it explodes or craters... hopefully explodes in your case, just be opportunity cost but if it craters lord help ya haha

(Mining was kinda dead that time.)
Also, have lost lots of $$, just like you said, it cratered down more. Cant recover.
I have also made lots of $$ because it exploded.
Can't always win, it is still a gamble.
MOST IMPORTANT THING ----> CAN'T BE GREEDY!!!
When big dips happens, it usually goes up and down for few days. Just like these two days.
After that it will get stabilized. Then, no fun.
And i think tonight, it will dip down again to 40000 - 42000 CAD mark. <---- I was wrong....its super strong at 47000 now
EDIT: Now, its 41000-42000 Finally. But it might dip down more by looking at chart....

talking in thousands a day profit just by buy/sell couple times a day. | Check out Pionex, I've been trading it up and down. Basically it helps you set up auto trading strategies to trade fluctuations, been pretty good to me during these swings. If you do want to sign up use my referral code WF43JXKB.
My fav strategy is margin grid because you don't have to sell your coin and you are basically borrowing USDT to facilitate the trades. As long as you don't over-leverage yourself (or use 0.2-1x leverage) it's really hard to get liquidated. The profits you make from running the bot should easily cover your interest rates
