The National Labor Relations Board on Thursday upheld a 2019 ruling that Tesla had illegally fired a worker involved in union organizing and that the company's chief executive, Elon Musk, had illegally threatened workers with the loss of stock options if they unionized.
His history of labour law violations, worker injuries and illnesses that are 3x the average workplace. His trump nutswinging. The fact that listening to him even say 11 words should make the average person want to jump off the lionsgate. His market manipulation tactics. Tax avoidances (then manipulation of his nutswingers to defend him by publicly announcing how he’s paying a portion of them)
He’s a manipulative weasel who’s an absolute cancer on this earth through the way he treats his employees, the way he manipulates this weird fan base of his into defending billionaires, contributing to the destruction of economies, etc
Not to mention he’s quite obviously a very shitty father to his multiple kids and disliked by the mother of his 5 children due to his chauvinistic and controlling behaviour.

But, I would just like to point out that TSLA employees are paid more on average than most legacy automotive employees and if you factor in their employee purchase plan, their shares in TSLA far exceed any competitor's compensation package.
Someone's political affiliation shouldn't affect their character.
He has high-functioning Aspergers, and he's a genius. It shouldn't be surprising he speaks as he does.
I'm not going to get into the billionaire's argument, but I don't think there's anything wrong with billionaires.
Lastly, I feel it's hard to judge someone's parenting or personal characteristics if we're so far removed.
We obviously have very different opinions on Elon.

My personal favourite is when he threw a hissy fit and called a British cave diver a pedophile when people were trying to rescue those kids stuck in a cave in Thailand: https://www.theguardian.com/technolo...e-pedo-twitter
There's also a whole wikipedia article about this kind of thing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism_of_Tesla,_Inc.
He's definitely not a genius. He doesn't actually create anything himself. Just a rich idiot.

With his 2 companies Tesla and Spacex he has done things massive companies like Ford GM and Boeing have not been able to do. Boeings space launch system is going to cost 23 billion when finished and over 2 billion per launch. Musk spend 2 Billion starting his company and a Falcon 9 launch costs 50 million. They plan to bring that down to under 30 million. A number of companies in the space and automotive industries have tried to compete with him but none have beaten him yet.
The amount of pressure he has on him is ridiculous. I'm not his biggest fan but he has done a lot of great things and have pushed other to follow him.

I don't really care enough to check how much he actually did with those early companies, but it certainly wasn't a solo effort by him.
Either way, still a piece of shit, and billionaires are still a cancer to society.

Don't forget that video ages ago taking delivery of his McLaren F1... he made it sound like he came from nothing "showering at the Y and sleeping on the office floor" as if it wasn't his choice to do so... when in fact he grew up in an extremely wealthy family.
The number of times I've seen fanboys say he was homeless before without a penny to his name and completely self-made is astonishing.

Isn't that because he didn't want anything to do with his father and lived in Canada with his mother, and they weren't extremely wealthy?

And how is Jeff's and Richards space companies doing? Why didn't Boeing hire the people Musk did. Why did GM only sell 26 electric cars in the Q4 of last year compared to Telsas 300k? You can't hire your way to success. Tons of rich kids have blown there families wealth. You can shit on him all you want but he has done a lot of great things and is way more then a man with a Pyle of money

Yes the dedicated EV company outsold the worst performing non-dedicated manufacturer. So did everyone else. But GM sold 2.2M vehicles total in the US last year and 6.8M worldwide. Tesla sold 936,172 worldwide.
But do please explain how beating GM (lol) in one metric means he's a genius.

Elon is not a genuine person nor is he a genius based on all the evidence out there of the type of person he is and the things he says.
However, I would consider him a good business man and a bit of a celebrity influencer with the cult he's built.

Hyundai was 10th on the list of manufacturers by revenue last year at $88.1 billion dollars.
Tesla had revenue of $31.5 billion… Toyota and VW were $250 Billion each… half a trillion in revenue in 1 year and they’re worth 240 and 497 billion respectfully…
Despite this, Tesla is somehow worth almost 1.5 Trillion… 31.5B in revenue but worth 1.5 trillion? Huh?
Massively massively overvalued, it pays to be popular what can you say. It’s certainly not based on performance. Pure speculation on the part of every investor.

Revenue is 31.5 billion
Wonder what the profits were? Maybe that 2.5 billion in government subsidies being a substantial part of their profits wasn’t as far off as I thought it was, combined with them selling “green credits” to other manufacturers.
Welfare for corporations, capitalism for the workers.

Bezos plans to provide satellite based internet like Musk. Bezos has zero satellites in space Musk has over 1400 and has people in Canada and around the world using his service. Bezos as of now has no way of putting satellites into space and plans to use United Launch Systems do launch his satellites.

Interesting how people like to focus their hate on the couple of billionaires that actually did achieve something with their life and directly or indirectly contribute to advancement in mankind.
There are no shortage of hater of Bezo, Musk, Jack Ma, Bill Gate etc
Plenty of people are ready to argue on why these people were only successfully because of money and why they are terrible human being for making xyz business choice
And than we have Dan Bilzerian, arguably the shittest human being alive regardless of his billionaire status. He has 32 million fans sucking his dick on social media lol.

What are people's opinions on game coins?
Sand / mana etc?
It seems like today they are just speculation, but with how large the gaming market is, all it's gonna take is for Roblox or Minecraft, fortnite to create or adopt a coin, and it would permanently skyrocket.
I'm really curious to see, when crypto is actually incorporated into videogames on the daily, who the king coin is going to be

I think all of the coins outside top 10 are even more speculative than the top 10 lol. Meaning, it's quite the gamble to buy any of them.
Peter Lynch once said, you don't have to be early to be rich. [I got to the Walmart party late, after they were established and after they made money, and I still went 10x with them].

I'm really curious to see, when crypto is actually incorporated into videogames on the daily, who the king coin is going to be | Personal opinion. Big gaming conglomerate will try their hardest and resist in whichever way possible to NOT use anybody’s coin but their own. That is if they ever adopt crypto in the way we imagine.
SAND MANA these two in particular are still way way overpriced objectively to their actual usage (which isn’t much beside purchasing asset right now)
IMO metaverse are still very very far away to reality and the first wave of adoption will not actually come from user (becuase let’s face there isn’t much to do as user right now and most people like to interact with thing, not build them). It will come from builder who will purchase land and asset so they can create something that one day will hopefully bring about the adoption that we dream of.
Coin are subjective to fluctuate, manipulation and market sentiment. Which mean at any given point in time it might be overvalue or undervalue. And we do not have an idea on how exactly these coins will interact with the metaverse economy in the future.
The better bet imo if you are bullish in the space is the actual asset. The intrinsic value of these asset (basically land right now) is already set in stone. If these metaverse are to take off you will need developer to buy these land and actually build something on it. The metaverse will not magically materialize if day SAND hits $10. SAND can go from $2 to $20 back down the $0.20 before we even get a glimpse of the real metaverse. Added bonus, these asset are highly illiquid and generally hold their value during market swing. And land being a limited resource in the new metaverse it kind of work the same way as irl.
Say you are investing in a possible new development country. Would you rather invest in their yet unproven currency? Or would you rather invest in the singular finite resource this country has, the land?

Just gonna ignore the other stuff I assume? | Of course, a company that has launched thousands of satellites for itself and paying customers and has sent supplies and astounds to the ISS is going to have spent more than a company that has nothing in orbit. Bezos is now spenting a billion a year of his own money on blue origin.
As for starlink I signed up and was given a chance to get one but declined so someone that actually needed it could get one. They are pumping out dishes as fast as they can but they are a lot more complicated than your standard sat tv dish. Also right now they can only have so many customers in an area. As they launch more dishes that number will increase.
The guy is literally changing the world for the good or bad depending on how you see it.
