GE8 fit & fog DRL rewiring help

Hi everyone,

Not sure if anyone has any info on this subject, but I was hoping to re-wire my fogs to run as DRL. Looking into this further and trying to figure it out, it seems it might be more difficult than I thought.

It's not as simple as throwing in an euro switch as I previously did with the mk5 gti.

Any help of pointers of who can do this for me would be great! thx

What I've seen some Honda people do is to rewire the foglights so they are independent of the lowbeams, and just leave the switch on all the time. And pull a fuse to disable DRL's.

This way your fogs will come on with ignition, and act as your DRL's, while your actual DRL's are disabled.

How this affects high-beam use, I'm not too sure. Did you try Fitfreak?
