I think I be seen this car couple times in town. :fullofwin: thanks for the vid

falcon 03-14-2013 12:19 PM

Yeah sure many of you will say "its his car he can do what he wants" but it hurts me inside seeing someone bag on their Lamborghini like this on dirt roads. Not only is he hurting the car, what he is doing is quite reckless given there is no safety equipment. The title states "WRC Lambo"... this is some douchebag "drifting" on dirt roads. WRC cars have full roll cages, proper suspension, skid plating etc. and can drive a lot better.

Akinari 03-14-2013 12:41 PM

You own an exotic? Tell us more about how you drift around on dirt roads.

TypeRNammer 03-14-2013 12:47 PM

How about doing a hot lap?

I don't see anything wrong with this. I really don't understand why drifting on dirt roads makes him a "douchebag" either. There is no need for name calling. He is not endangering anyone but himself (and possibly some wildlife ). It is his choice like you said yourself.

At the end of the day it is a piece of metal and unless he wraps it around a tree, there is nothing much that can happen to the car (maybe crack a rim, blow a tire, damage a bumper, screw up the alignment, but nothing that can't be fixed). I for one applaud people who daily drive their exotics and use the shit out of them. Jon Olsson is one of them!

dhari 03-14-2013 12:51 PM

This guy is the f*********** man! Props to him for a good looking ride that he actually drives. It puts a big grin on my face to see him drive like that :fullofwin:
Seen this car DT and it looks amazing.

TOS'd 03-14-2013 12:53 PM

+1 Jon Olsson !

Don't ever go on any sort of back road/gravel road then. You may have a heart attack from the amount of "reckless" people with no "safety equipment". Live a little.

4nik8 03-14-2013 03:46 PM

ha ha that's reckless? I had diesel trucks flying by me sideways twice that fast on my way out to stave... damm reckless rednecks .. also he's hitting some of those "washboard" areas with a decent amount of speed. I wonder what that's like inside the car. When i hit that stuff it feels like my car is going to fall apart. .. maybe i'm not going fast enough...

Just because he pointed out that the Lambo is a retarded "WRC" car, doesn't make him wrong or afraid to live a little. Just to point out a little further, it's awesome that guy is shitkicking his car, don't get me wrong, I love seeing expensive cars DRIVEN. Falcon's point is just that it's sort of like using a GT3 to haul lumber... you can say "Oh good, at least it's really being used" but that doesn't exactly make it a good use of it. I would rather see a Gallardo having the daylights wrung out of it on a track and having an STi ripping up the dirt roads... This is that very poster (Falcon)'s run at the Bible Creek Hill Climb:

This is a lap with me at Oregon Raceway Park:

You don't have to do it on the street to get an adrenaline fix and it's easy to be a little keyboard warrior and call others out when they don't agree. Both Aaron and I hold race licenses and hold records on track - my question is what have YOU done to live a little lately that makes you such an expert?

Mark

Nlkko 03-14-2013 04:17 PM

guy got serious balls. He could wrap that thing around a tree. He could drive however the fck way he please. Looks like he is having so much fun. Thats all that matters. Loosen up a little.

I never once said Falcon was a poser, nor did I ever say that what the op posted was a good use for the vehicle. Hell, my comment had nothing at all to do with the original video. Thanks for taking the time out of your day to type up a response though!

I went offroading and been skiing some gnar pow in the backcountry, been flying planes every couple weeks and a B747 sim is usually good for an adrenaline rush depending on the emergencies given. And for the record I would say the same thing to you in person, but today I'm sick and stuck inside, hence the keyboard.

FerrariEnzo 03-14-2013 05:18 PM

that just looks like some guy driving on a little bit of dirt... DID I miss the WRC part?

wheres the jumps and other WRC stuff??

DEADBEA7 03-14-2013 05:26 PM

I just think it's great seeing a local exotic car being used for something other than a bubble tea cruiser lol
