Spring meet 2013 International Visitor

Hi all,

good to see RS riders down at the meet today. Hope it was enjoyable for all.

I would like to share one of our visitor's story. He arrived shortly after the bike group departed.

His name is Jeffrey Polnaja from Jakarta Indonesia. Yes, He rode his BMW R1150GS from his home in South Asia. and on a World Journey promoting world peace. Currently on tour in North Amerca after leaving Korea. His next destination will be Alaska when he leaves Vancouver.

I was taken back when he told me where he rode from. As a rider myself, I envied him. I envied his passion, his determination, and his vision. What a grand event of a lifetime for oneself, to be able to leave and tour the world starting with $20,000 on a bike no less. Nothing short of inspirational to say the least.

More info on his journey and treks can be found on his website - One Man – One Bike – One Planet - with galleries of photos and videos of his journeys.

REVscene will be in touch with Jeffrey throughout his journey, and he will update us of his whereabouts and adventures when possible. Special thanks to Morgan (Raiden) for showing Jeffrey how to find his destination (Olympic Torches) and being an ambassador not just for REVscene, but for Vancouver BC.

kudos to you sir!

Today I actually met Jeffrey at Price Smart!

He is a great guy to talk to and he told me that he is waiting for the weather to clean up before heading to Alaska!
