Just stepping away from work for lunch to vote.

Definitely not voting for NDP. It was an embarrassment to what they did to the BC Economy a decade ago. Good thing the Liberals took over, government fiscal policy changes that were implemented made results right away that attracted additional businesses to BC. I was lucky enough to be graduating university at the right time to be recipient of those policy changes.

Then again, Christy Clark doesn't seem to have a pro-active vision and where to steer BC.

Gridlock has been working it too....said it has been pretty steady all day actually! Just popped into to bring him food and vote and there were a lot of people there.

Should pick up after 4pm when most get off work.

Everyone should vote if you can!!! You might not know this but the province receives money from the Federal government per vote so the more people that vote the better off it is for everyone!!

Lomac 05-14-2013 12:24 PM

Ah fuck it. I'm gonna vote. I'm high on medication so I'm just gonna let my floating brain decide what box to fill in. Much easier on my conscience that way. :p

Just voted. I was #273 for my last name bracket. Langley usually has a decent voter turn out.

I went today at 8:30...and there was a bit of a line. Good to see.

As a side note, there are 2 people stationed at each table...and generally they talk and chat. But my table had a very stern-looking elderly woman, and an exchange-student looking Japanese girl who was on her cell phone the entire time I was standing there. Was pretty funny..haha.

GET OUT AND VOTE.

BBMme 05-14-2013 02:10 PM

Not happy, I had to vote for a party I didn't want to because the party I wanted wasn't in my area=(

I showed up with a single piece of photo ID.

Also, I'm relatively sure this info is on your voting card that they sent to you.

Ok, so I just had a dude representing the NDP ring me to let him in to door knock. I told him I didn't think this was allowed as it is election day, but he said as long as he was not doing so at a polling station it was okay....

Then I saw this:
B.C. Conservatives violate act by robocalling on election day | Globalnews.ca

Is this the same thing?

Wait - he's door knocking at 7:15pm when the polls close at 8pm?

Wow.

I had a guy knocking at my door at 6pm ... didn't answer but I thought it was weird too since they are not suppose to campaign at all on the day of the election.

Wow.

Yeah...rang the intercom about 15 mins ago. Got all attitudy when I questioned him...

I don't know why he is bothering....NDP took this area with almost 80% last time.

Lomac 05-14-2013 07:07 PM

So predictions on who wins?

I say NDP minority.
