If that's not voter apathy, I don't know what is.

Kinda sad when you realize that basically a quarter (okay, maybe a third) of the population of BC determines the fate of the province.

How do they deserve it? Do we give out seats like "participation" prizes now?

Conservative! but probably not=(

godwin 05-14-2013 09:37 PM

You are referring to Vicki Huntington? She is from a PC dynasty.. Honestly PC would have been stronger if she had led instead of John Cummins. But I think she is too smart for that.

Mr.C 05-14-2013 09:46 PM

Nice to see Sam Sullivan get elected.

EmperorIS 05-14-2013 09:47 PM

YES!! Suzanne Anton!!

Ronin 05-14-2013 09:48 PM

The Green party split the vote with the NDP. In a lot of ridings, the combined Green + NDP vote would've beat the Liberals.

I'm good with no NDP government.

My goodness.. that woman is a complete idiot. If you have seen some of her speeches and stuff at the Vancouver city hall, you would know what I mean.

I dunno how anyone in the Fraserview riding could vote for her, esp given how they have seen her running in the municipal election.

Soundy 05-14-2013 09:55 PM

Adrian Chalifour @AdrianChalifour
Somewhere out there, there's an NDP-supporting Leafs fan that could really, REALLY use a hug right now. #bcelxn #bcpoli

MG1 05-14-2013 09:58 PM

You would be surprised who would even vote for Gabriel Yiu in this riding. Have you heard of the crap he talks about on the Chinese radio? This hood is mostly immigrant families, lots of which care about the damn economy.

In 2009 Liberals randomly dropped Kash Heed into this hood and he still beat out this dude.

EmperorIS 05-14-2013 10:03 PM

^^^^

gabirelle yiu = hey i'm chinese you're chinese...You gotta vote for me.

Suzanne Anton is by far the most competent one out of this riding

The riding is fairly affluent, so voting against the NDP isn't too surprising. But really, Suzanne Anton?! :rukidding:

I am also a bit surprised by how close a lot of the ridings are. (I remember Fraserview being one of them.) There was one dude leading the runner up person by only 60-something votes...

Soundy 05-14-2013 10:05 PM

"Well that was easy..." Hahahahaha

CT10 05-14-2013 10:09 PM

Mrs Cummins... hahaha

Whats wrong with Anton? I didn't really look in to her Municpal election but when she held City council and commissioner of Park Board she got shit done

she's a hard worker for sure

New party....

Taxes still go up
Gas still goes up
Cost of living still goes up

Which party actually helps reduce this? None!

dinosaur 05-14-2013 10:17 PM

Christy Clark takes the stage to give victory speech. First comment "well, that was easy."

UUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! And she wonders why people don't like her.

godwin 05-14-2013 10:18 PM

Wrong election.. try Federal for those.
