OBD-II reader I can borrow?

Hi,

Wondering if anyone in Victoria has an OBD-II reader I can borrow? My Miata has been spitting out the CEL. Thought it was the gas cap, disconnected the battery twice and the light eventually comes back after about a day.

Dealer charges $45 to even take a look and hoping I can diagnose on my own. Will buy beer in exchange.

thanks,
