Ron Howard's RUSH This will be beyond epic... Thor as James Hunt will be interesting |
Fuck me that looks good |
:fullofwin: this is the actual footage of the accident and just to throw this in there for kicks |
-definitely gonna see this movie this year. Adrenaline rush! |
Looks like a great movie and it's not about an American. |
the actor playing niki lauda is so convincing its almost creepy how much he looks/acts/sounds like the man himself! |
watch that new FnF movie with boring racing or watch thor do some real racing :suspicious: has to be thor in some real racing |
i can't wait for this |
Quote:
its a Ron Howard film so I can't see it being disappointing |
not very often can a trailer make one emotional or even teary eyed.... this one did. |
trailer #3. Looks really good. |
Can't wait for this one, looks epic. |
Catch the "Star in a reasonably priced car" segment on last week's Top Gear. Ron Howard was on. |
:alonehappy: 100% so far on Rotten Tomatoes, and some great 1st reviews: Ron Howard's RUSH Is 'A Virtuoso Feat Of Filmmaking' Can't wait! |
I thoroughly enjoyed this film. |
Went and saw it, extremely well done film. Even my girlfriend enjoyed it. How close they got the characters to look like the real thing is pretty amazing, especially for Nikki. |
I am surprised it's not gotten much buzz on here. Also curious I have barely come across any marketing for this film; maybe why they had a pretty bad opening weekend. |
This is an epic film! -saw it on Tuesday night. Ron Howard does a good job in filming very realistic scenes of the car racing at various Formula 1 racing tracks. -good character development for both James Hunt and Nikki Lauda. -got some good laughs from some of the lines that actors Chris Hemsworth (Hunt) and Daniel Brühl (Lauda) say in some scenes. They did a fine job of acting. 9/10. |
I agree that the actors are well chosen to represent the F1 drivers physically, especially Daniel Brühl as Nikki Lauda. |
I'm gonna find some time this weekend to see this. I think one of the problems is that people think that they have to be race fans to "get this" movie, so they don't think about going to see it. That's one of the comments i've heard from numerous friends who shot down the idea to go see it. |
Watched it this past weekend. Loved it. The story was great and there wasn't any boring parts. Story progression was pretty fast, so you won't be waiting around for something to happen. Also, more tits that I was expecting so  |
Solid film, captures the spirit of the 70's, and some of the one-liners were golden. And I shat myself when the Tyrell P34 was in the movie. Didn't realize it was involved in that year of F1, and it was my favorite historical F1 car growing up. |
Saw it with the D-Box seats. Almost fell off my seat literally. Surprising how much of it is actually real. |
Loved this movie in the D-Box seats, totally worth it. |
Simple amazing! I loved the movie and the actor that played Lauda was perfect! I don't think their could be another actor that can play Lauda the way he did. Glad I caught this in theaters, as it was worth every penny! 9-9.5/10 |
