She taught me right from wrong and always told me to stay positive and help others no matter how small the deed - that helping others gives us meaning to carry on. The sun is out today and it's a new day. Life is good. I just needed a slap in the face.

i think it looks alright. i suppose they were trying to appeal to the sports-car owner market given the evo-esque from end. its still body on frame, has a rear solid axle with diff lock, 4lo/4hi transfer case and seats 5 relatively comfortably. people will continue to buy them for what they are.
i still prefer the front end on mine though, although this will all be moot when i throw on a winch bumper...
something like this:
wonder what the 6th generation 4runner will look like.
Stock I did 10L/100km on highway 12L/100km city. After heavier tires and a few mods its averaging at 13.5L/100km mixed. I do have to punch up boundary on a daily basis though which is a bitch lol.
My AFC gave me an ABS CEL code of LOL while at WOT!

Honestly, what is happening with Toyota these days? In my mind, the 3rd generation design is still timeless. Simple, clean, modern. They gotta go back in that direction.

I thought that one you linked was yours for a second, I think you should aim for something like that, It looks AMAZING.
We'd need pictures of the back end to compare. The Ass-tec.. it was as if the GM designers who did the front were in a different building than the ones who did the back, they were so far apart.

mine currently as it stands:
saving up for the bumper and suspension to go along with it. those will probably be the two last things that i upgrade.
this summer doing all the electrical (i.e. dual battery setup, 3500W pure sine wave inverter, running power to rear, and lights [around 30,000 lumens ish]).
sliders and armor (full skids including diff guard) will be the next phase
